Happy New Years Eve everyone!!

I CANNOT believe that today is the last day of 2024. It feels like just a week ago I was counting down the seconds for this year. I’m sure 2024 has taken it’s toll on everybody, but we’ve all made it through. Here’s to the new year!! 💗

Song twins headcanons!!

This is the second part of @juleshwin’s request for my event! I hope you like these! 💗

Note: These headcanons are all set before the twins went to exillium. There may be some tiny spoilers, though I’m not sure, so I’ll just add a spoiler warning (‼️) too just in case.

Anyways here we go :)

Even before they had to share a room, Linh would always go to Tam’s room and climb into his bed whenever she couldn’t sleep. Whenever Tam was awake to notice her entering the doorway, he’d wordlessly scoot over to make room for her.

As she got older, Linh started doing it less and less until she stopped altogether. However, the night she flooded Atlantis, the fear of being exiled proved a need to revisit her old habit. For the next couple of nights, she couldn’t sleep without the comfort of her brother’s arms wrapped around her.

They 100% used (and still sometimes use) code words, especially around their parents to purposely ay things they wouldn’t understand. It’s like their own language. (may edit in some of the words they use later!)

After finding out that Linh’s water could thin/spread Tam’s shadows they would around with it all the time in private, seeing what different effects they could have when they mixed the two elements together in different ways. Linh especially enjoyed it as it simultaneously helped her gain better control of her powers.

While their parents felt ashamed of both of their children for turning out to be twins, Tam was the child who they wanted to favor. They tried to holding him to their high expectations while keeping Linh out of their own eyes and others. (To them) she was the problem, after all. The fragile one who couldn’t even gain control of her own abilities.

<- This constantly angered Tam and made him even more protective towards his sister. He decided from then on that he wanted them to be anything but satisfied, at least with him. This was the cause of his stubbornness towards his parents.

Linh’s love language is words of affirmation. On that line, words mean a lot to her. They can easily lift her up, but can also tear her down. She tried hard not to let her sadness show whenever anyone spoke negatively of her, but it always struck hard.

<- And as it was rare especially for their parents to speak uplifting words to either of them, Tam was Linh’s only source of encouragement. He made sure to remind her of something amazing about herself every single time she was verbally attacked. He did it whenever she was simply feeling upset as well.

<- It always made Linh’s day, as there was no one else on the planet she’d rather hear those kind words from than her brother.

On the topic of love lanuages, Tam’s is quality time (with people he trusts, of course.) Most people don’t know this, as he is usually very wary and distant—but it always touches his heart when people willingly spend time with him. His parents never do it and neither do others beside Linh, so he holds it to a high standard of love.

These headcanons are set pre The Last Olympian. (aka before they found out that they were half-bloods :))

I was going to do some angsty ones but then they started making me sad so I switched lmao.

(Ps: Most of these ended up accidentally becoming Bianca and Nico headcannons 😅. They were together for so long that I found extremely hard to single Bianca out.)

(Also, I just love their sibling dynamic. It literally kills me.)

This one’s unoriginal (the only one, promise) but once I saw a headcanon that said Bianca’s middle name is Maria and I 100% agree.

<- It also sounds so pretty. Bianca Maria. ✨

Italy’s most famous sport is football (⚽️ < this type, not American) and I can totally see Bianca being in a junior league before they moved to Washington D.C.

<- You can bet she was crazy competitive as well. People would underestimate her because of her shy demeanor before realizing that was a terrible terrible mistake.

Bianca always claimed to be uninterested in Mythomagic, but that wasn’t exactly true. After all of Nico’s rambling, she’d secretly warmed up to it.

One time, out of loneliness, she’d even asked him if they could play it together. Willingly.

<- Nico was over the moon at this. He brought it up all the time after that, but she’d continuously deny it.

So apparently The Wizard of Oz came out during the 1930’s, and I lowkey feel like she and Nico loved that movie when they were younger. I feel like they’d also be ones to mimic their favorite scenes/lines at random times and just start laughing their heads off.

Bianca was 100% into hair care/skin care. She loved trying out new routines and hairstyles. Sometimes she would get Nico to watch so she could have the excuse to do a full demonstration.
