How much do you write?

Well, that really depends. Sometimes I stay up until 4am and get two chapters written and sometimes I just add one stupid sentence to a dialog and call it a day.

100 Dialogue Tags You Can Use Instead of “Said”

For the writers struggling to rid themselves of the classic ‘said’. Some are repeated in different categories since they fit multiple ones (but those are counted once so it adds up to 100 new words). 

1. Neutral Tags 

Straightforward and unobtrusive dialogue tags: 

Added, Replied, Stated, Remarked, Responded, Observed, Acknowledged, Commented, Noted, Voiced, Expressed, Shared, Answered, Mentioned, Declared.

2. Questioning Tags 

Curious, interrogative dialogue tags:

Asked, Queried, Wondered, Probed, Inquired, Requested, Pondered, Demanded, Challenged, Interjected, Investigated, Countered, Snapped, Pleaded, Insisted.

3. Emotive Tags 

Emotional dialogue tags:

5. Action-Oriented Tags

Me, when the weekend is about to end and I did absolutely nothing:

So I'm thinking: How many people out there are writing right now? How many people are drawing, painting, creating art? How many people are suffering, dying? How many people are being born right now? How many people are happy and how many people are sad?

Everyone is out there experiencing something while I'm sitting here learning about crystals and how they are built to pass my exam tomorrow. Sad.

Yesterday I made the mistake of rereading my old diary and I'm NEVER doing that again.

Just for the context, I think I'm starting to catch feelings AGAIN for the guy I've liked like a year ago. Sad.
