Heya! It's been a while 😶‍🌫️

Just to let you all know I'm still working on my comics ;u;

Sadly, I didn't expect this month to be this tiring and... unnerving at my job. So my pace has slow down to one page every 2 or 3 days instead of one each day *sighs*

For now, I won't guess when I will start to post it. But for sure I will soon, no worries 🤞

✨ Art Summary 2024 ✨

Welp, you can definitely see where the shift happened this year 😂🫣 **** So yep, I discovered Ace Attorney back in May and it took me awhile to dare to draw for it. And I even surprised myself even more when toward the end of the first trilogy, I started to ship those 2 dorks lawyers (I luv them, I say it affectionately of course 💕😌).

Anyway, the game helped me A LOT this year with my mood since many events happened irl (professionally and personally). So the comics I've started for Narumitsu since July really helped me a lot to de-stress (you can find the many WIPs on my blog).

I think I'm comfortable with the style of rendering I have now and that I realized this year that I really prefer to draw comics than full arts (funnily, I have no patience for full arts but for comics I do hmmmm 🫠). **** As for Kotaloy, I'll be honest: I won't come back to it any time soon 🫂 I still love them dearly, but let's say it has went dormant because of personal reasons. Maybe when Horizon 3 will be announced my urge to draw them will come back, who knows.

**** I want to thanks everyone who loved / shared and left comments / tags on my arts here on tumblr this year! It's honestly the only place where I feel comfortable and where my arts are appreciated and seen, so again THANK YOU SO MUCH!!! 💖💖💖 And welcome new followers! 🤗 I will for sure share more next year! (and hopefully fully share my nrmt comics 👀 *run away* )

21 pages out of 41!! 🎉

I honestly thought it would be finished this month all the pages, but life happened *sniff* 🥲 The goal would be that toward the end of January I reveal the cover and start to post the pages (here and on AO3). I'm thinking of posting 2 or 3 pages each week.

In fact, I could start sharing them if I wish, but at the same time I don't want to make you all wait for each pages ahdjfgjh (I know how it feels *coughs* )

This is more a concept idea I have for another story that is supposed to take place far later after the comics I'm working on.

Today I've completed the first 7 pages, yipeeeee!! 🎉

A tiny fun fact : at first, it was 'only' 34 pages at the beginning. But then after I re-read it again and again, I thought "Wait, this tiny story is starting too abruptly, maybe let's add some angst between them at the start (?)"…

And then, voilà! I added the 7 pages later this month after I fully finished the drafts at the end of October 🥲

No worries! It's not a full angst comics— Ok, during the 20 first pages it is ahem. Let's say they're just awkward with each other after what happened to Phoenix.

I'll probably be in this for a looong time since I only just started the Apollo Justice Trilogy last week. I'm at case 4-3, and I can't wait to finally fully discover the 4-4 case (I only know the big events of the story just thanks to the Wiki when I was starting to get interested by the games, but really in depth after AA4, I know nothing *hides* ).

Btw, for now I can say the story takes place 3 or 4 years after Phoenix's disbarment, I still need to think about the date hmmm.

Speaking of which, I think I figured out how to color the pages with tones like a manga, I always went with just a black and white style, and I've always wanted to try this with a real project. I hope it will look nice 🫣

For now only 2 pages are clean out of 41 *nervous laugh*

Also... as always, I love to put a lot of details on my arts and I went hard with the backgrounds 🥲 I always do this to myself but worth it

Since July after work to relax at night, I started to draw a fanbook idea I had for Narumitsu (Yep, in only 2 months in this series and this happened, my brain is incorrigible).

Something that was supposed to be only 5 pages became... a FORTY ONE pages project !! *eats my stylus ggrrrmmn*

Next step now is : clean up the pages and the cover. ᕕ( ᐛ )ᕗ

Spoilers for Ace Attorney Investigations 2: Prosecutor's Gambit

So, I just completed part 1 of AAI2-5 (and good lord, it took me 3 hours, I didn't think it would take this long!). And during the Mind Chess with Eustace / Sebastian (protecc this poor boy omg 😭), I came across this conversation between Miles and him, and the little difference with how he calls Phoenix is interesting between french and english.

Little side notes : English name = French name Miles Edgeworth = Benjamin Hunter Eustace Winner / Sebastian Debeste = Eustache Victor

[French translation]

Hunter : Vous savez… parler de tout cela avec vous, cela m'aide aussi. Pendant un temps, je ne voulais pas faire face non plus à certaines vérités. Mais quelqu'un qui m'est cher m'a montré que je faisais erreur.

If (as I think) it's about Phoenix here, well this is not the first time in the french version where he talks about him so highly compare to the english version sometimes. There was another moment (during AAI2-2 iirc) where he calls him "a renowned / illustrious defense attorney" in french. HMMMM (≖_≖ )
