Black & White Book Cover Contest!
Details:
Cover submissions should be in full colour.
They should feature Fanpro characters.
They should be saved as large as possible. The book is printed on A4 size page. 300 dpi is lovely. More details here.
Keep in mind that the winning cover will have a logo added to it. Don't add the logo yourself.
All entries will be automatically submitted to a full colour artbook, provided we have your permission to do so.
Rules:
Please only submit your own work.
The "star" feature should be at least one Fanpro character.
You must sign your work.
Put the finished picture in a .zip file to compress it before e-mailing. This is for my inbox's sake.
Save a .psd/.sai/whatever you use file of your work. This way we can move stuff around to fit the logo if we must. If you can include this in the .zip then that would be great.
It would be nice if you saved a raw copy of the background and included any textures in your .zip file. I'd like to make the back cover match the front as closely as possible.
Collaborating is sign, but the prizes will not be doubled.
Deadline is July 20th.
Prizes:
One (1) copy of the finished Black & White book with your cover of choice.
Pride & Joy
Prizes may be updated to include more things, but never less.
As a note, all entries will automatically be approved for submitting to the full colour artbook. This includes a non-logoed version of the Black&White cover.

How to Submit Your Final Product
Since I see some of you are very well on your way with your pages!
Finish your products and save them in the highest quality you can. The book is being printed in A4 page size. Dimension information is over here. 300 dpi is the minimum.
It would be nice if you put them in a .zip folder.
E-mail them to [email protected]. Remember the +Fanpro! This will ensure that your e-mail is sent directly to my Fanpro Book folder.
You are welcome to upload previews to any site you wish. When uploading them to Tumblr, please add the fanprobook tag. Then I can find it and reblog it here.

Title Decision + Very Few Pages Remain!
So after reading your opinions to the ask and notes and stuff, I've decided that for our book cover we'll go with a contest. I'm going to spend some time ironing out the details before I make the official contest instructions, but the basic idea will be that one submission will be the cover for the B&W book, then all of the other art will be automatically added to the colour artbook.
For prizes, I'll probably give the winner a free copy of the whole B&W book with their art on the cover. I'm gonna see about offering some other prizes, but I'm really clueless for what people like and want.
That said, we're done to our very last pages. Claim now or forever hold your peace! Or... ask really nicely and I can probably make room for more.

Black & White Book Cover?
So I was originally going to wait a while, but I realized that this would be time consuming and I want to give a lot of time to finish this.
Our book is going to need a cover! I can tell you from my past Lulu publishings that the cover prints really nice. It's in full colour with a glossy print and was my favorite part of my book. I've been trying to brainstorm ideas for the cover and wanted some input;
We hold a mini contest to pick the cover. Artists can submit their cover art and we will vote as a community for the cover. All remaining art will be automatically published into the Full Colour book, so it won't be wasted effort. I will send the winner a free copy of the finished book so they can enjoy the sight of their art printed.
We hold a raffle and the winner draws the cover however they want. Artists just give me their name and I put it in a hat, then draw. Very old school.
We do a collaborative cover. Artists can claim a Fanpro to draw and will draw them with a transparent background. Then we'll put as many of them as possible on the front and back of the book.
We don't put any art on the cover. Just text.
I made this an ask so that everyone can submit their own ideas or opinions for how we handle the book cover. I'm leaning towards 1, 2, or 3 since I'd like this book to showcase a lot of love and talent. But I am not opposed to 4 if that's what I hear the most requests for.
Just answer the ask with your opinion! You can pick multiple options. You can tell me you don't care. You can give me a better idea. In 3 days ( June 11th ), I will make a decision.
