After Future Dean showed Past Dean the Colt and explained his plan to kill the Devil, they decided they needed a break—just a moment of peace before the storm. A drink, something strong, to steady themselves before the inevitable showdown that night.

But just as their glasses were about to touch their lips, the door to the room flew open with a crash, drawing both their attention to the interruption.

You walked in, your eyes fixed on the map in your hands, not bothering to look up.

Future Dean scowled at the disruption. Past Dean, however, was caught off guard. He'd been in 2014 for a while now, but this was the first time he'd seen you . From what he could tell, you looked almost the same—except for the faint frown tugging at the corners of your mouth as you studied the map.

"What the hell, Y/N?" Dean's voice was low and grave, the kind of tone that suggested the world was already heavy enough without this nonsense.

You looked up, startled, your gaze flicking between the two Deans standing in front of you. One was wearing a green cargo jacket and had an unmistakable aura of irritation radiating off him, his frown etched deep between his brows. The other was younger, dressed in a blue jacket, his expression a mix of confusion and something else—was it awe? You couldn't quite tell.

Your eyes darted between them, and then a small, teasing smirk tugged at your lips.

“I’ve had a dream like this,” you said, gesturing between the two with a playful flick of your wrist. Your eyes twinkled with mischief, and you bit your finger lightly as if savouring the moment.

Green Dean rolled his eyes, his patience clearly frayed. He knocked back his drink in one go, slamming the glass down on the table before turning on his heel and storming out of the room.

Your gaze followed him, clearly enjoying the reaction. Getting under his skin was one of your favourite pastimes, and you knew exactly how to push his buttons.

A soft snicker escaped Blue Dean, who tried to hide it behind a sip of his own drink, but his amusement was obvious.

As you walked toward the door, your step light and carefree, you turned your head over your shoulder with a mischievous glint in your eyes. He glanced at you, and you shot him a cheeky wink in return. Blue Dean chuckled softly, shaking his head but saying nothing.

With a satisfied smile, you left the room, your work done for the moment.

Doctor Who text posts: Fifteen edition – pt. 1

As someone who has broken a femur (at nine years old, might I ad) and had an brother that stabbed a fort into my leg (at the age of three) I am getting a little tired of people explaining the PTSD pain of injuries as an “physical pain/same pain as if it happened again, where it happened”.

Anytime I see a person in media or books with my same or similar injury, they always say the injury hurts just like it did when it was broken/stabbed/happened.

Unfortunately, for those who haven’t gone through these things, I understand how you choose to explain it. However, I have been stabbed with a fork and broken the hardest bone to break in the body. The pain is NOT how it feels when you first broke it or got stabbed.

When I witness things that remind me of my injuries (this may be different for others, but never once have I met someone in my support group or therapy that had described it like the writings I’ve seen) I always get a dull, sometimes imperceptible tingle. Yes, sometimes if I am reminded well enough (I don’t wanna say triggered cause that’s cringe to me) I get an actual ache. It’s not like the brain numbing, can’t focus pain of a bone break. A bone break feels like the chamber of secrets Harry Potter when the professor removes his arm bone and it goes floppy! (Because your muscle had nothing to flex around and it feels like you’ve got no bones, to me at least) However, my only “pain” comes when I have nightmares about those things happening to me.

I know this won’t get many likes or anything, but I just needed to rant a bit. I have read so many fics lately where the reader has gone though some stuff, and the healing and PTSD isn’t accurate. You’re allowed to write PTSD even if you haven’t gone through it yourself, but PLEASE do research to at least make it accurate? It’s only fair to your readers and everyone that actually is that way.
