The Secret Syrup

The brothers find a secret syrup that can heighten the emotion of anger. Thinking about how patience MC is they decide to see how the potion affects her by slipping it into her food. (Basically the bros responding to a pissed off MC)

Warning/tags: Gender-neutral MC,  anger issues.

All MCs I write are written from the perspective of my MC unless otherwise asked. I try to use gender-neutral pronouns as well (I’m not used to this so if I make a mistake please let me know) unless otherwise requested.

MC knew something was wrong when they woke up to the seven brothers surrounding them with a tray of breakfast food. Despite their intentional thoughts of suspicion MC thanked the brothers and swiftly ate the food they prepared. Everything was going fine until about thirty minutes later when MC started feeling...on edge. Every single thing began to get on their last nerve. Every look, voice, and minuscule task was driving them insane. Everyone around MC could see them emitting a dark aurora and opted to stay away from them, except, of course, the brothers, who took upon themselves to be as annoying as they possibly could be.

MC was known around the Devildom for their patience and kindness in even the most troubling of situations. Although having a pact with seven of the most powerful demons in Devildom they rarely used their pact power and when they did it was usually necessary for their safety. Even with a magical syrup invoking all of the anger out of them they still maintained their patience and calm demeanor. That was until they were required to prepare a special dinner at the Prince of Devildom’s (Otherwise known as Lord Diavolo) castle. All of the seven brothers would be there along with the other exchange students, all of whom knew of the little prank the brothers had played on MC. 

MC arrived at the castle to begin preparing food with Diavolo’s servant, Barbatos. Barbatos immediately recognized how frustrated MC seemed, although he found it amusing he saw no reason to further frustrate MC and the cooking went off without a hitch. 

Once everyone had arrived MC and Barbatos took their seats at the large dining table. MC sat between the second eldest, Mammon, and the fourth eldest, Asmodeus. Both of whom are known to be quite obnoxious at times, something MC usually sees as endearing and cute was now just plain annoying. As they ate everyone began to notice how MC began tearing into their food. Roughly cutting their meat and shoving it into their mouth. 

“My, my MC you would think the brothers have been starving you,” jested Diavolo. 

“Sorry, to be honest with you I’ve been feeling a bit under the weather,” replied MC frustration was heavy in their voice.

It was at this moment MC noticed Mammon holding something rather familiar.

“Mammon, is that my ring,” they asked.

“Wh-what ring, I didn’t know ya had a ring, MC,” replied Mammon.

“Mammon, I’m being serious that ring is very special to me, okay? I’m serious please return it to me, it is very very important and sentimental to me,” said MC. 

As Mammon began to hand over the ring to MC he dropped it into his soup. Were it normal, human soup (which MC was eating) this wouldn’t have caused any harm, but it just so happened that this particular meal included a special ingredient which made the soup so hot it could melt just about everything, including MC’s ring. As MC saw their ring disappear everyone saw them emit a strong aurora of anger. MC simply turned and stared at Mammon, shock and anger apparent on their face. Many of the brothers began giggling, Simeon, one of the angels, just gasped and stared on.

“MC, I’m really sorry, I didn’t mean to break it. I’m so sorry,” Mammon blabbering on.

MC took a moment and let out a long sigh.

“It’s fine, Mammon.”

The utter annoyance was quite clear in their their voice. Everyone could still see the cloud of anger around MC and knew it was not fine.

Mammon went on, “I really was giving it back to you, I didn’t know how special it was to you. I’m rea-”

“Seriously, Mammon, it’s fine,” MC waved it off.

Although incredibly angry when looking at the panic and guilt on Mammon’s face they couldn’t they couldn’t find it in themselves to lash out at him. They couldn’t help the anger they felt, but they tried their best not to show it to the greedy demon.

“Mammon, you are such an idiot,” remarked one of the brothers, all of who were very amused at the turn of events. Mammon looked down clearly upset with himself. MC reached a hand out to touch his cheek.

“Hey, Mammon, it’s fine, accidents happen. Just don’t take my things without asking, okay?” 

MC’s voice grew quite tender. MC was still visibly very upset, but it was clear her frustrations didn’t lay with Mammon but the situation they were in (and the magic they were still oblivious to.)

“Wow, even with the syrup MC still has quite the self-control,” remarked the other human exchange student, Solomon. 

Everyone at the table became quite astonished with MC. Mammon, although deeply loved by his brothers, was usually a target for everyone to release their frustrations on, even when he was clearly innocent and undeserving of their berating. To see Mammon clearly in the wrong and still be treated with such kindness proved to them MC’s virtue and purity. 

“What do you mean ‘the syrup,’” questioned an MC whose anger was quickly returning back to them. 

“It seems the brothers slipped some magical syrup into your food, which enhances one’s anger,” state Barbatos.

MC stared wildly at all the brothers looking about ready to kill them all, but  much to their surprise they just burst into tears. Everyone froze unsure of what to do, they expected to get yelled at and to maybe have their pact used against them in some way, but no one expected MC to begin crying. 

“I’m sorry guys, it’s just been a really long day and I’m really emotional right now,” sobbed MC

Suddenly everyone, even those who had nothing to do with the prank felt a twinge of guilt at seeing MC cry. The brothers were quick to crowd around MC and babble apologies while hugging them. Shortly after they took MC home and waited for the effects of the syrup to wear off. The brothers became very considerate of them and did their best to not invoked their anger. Each brother apologized and MC waved each of them off understanding their harmless, albeit reckless intentions. Finally MC fell asleep and the magic wore off.

The next morning when MC awoke they found a ring almost identical to their now destroyed one with a note that said:

“Sorry for destroying your ring. I figured I owed ya a replacement. Now don’t go thinkin’ it’s because I care about ya or nothin’ because you’re the only one who’s never called me stupid or idiot because of course you could never be mad at The Great Mammon. So don’t get that in ya head okay? I just felt bad, okay?

Mammon”

Despite what he wrote MC knew the truth of his heart and smiled to themselves.

Imagine Diavolo just straight up kidnaps MC from the house of Lamentation and the brothers just assume they went back to the human world like-

It’s the perfect set-up, honestly. Lucifer has so much trust in Diavolo, and the rest of the brothers have so much trust in him. It’s almost beautiful, how willing they are to take his word for it. Or, it’s beautiful for everyone else, at least. 

Title: Dissonance.

You couldn’t quite believe it.

You knew you were a captive. You knew you were trapped in a bedroom too extravagant to belong to anyone else, that you were restrained with golden shackles too gaudy to be selected by anyone else’s hands and no one else could be behind your captivity, not when every aspect of your existence suddenly reeked of Diavolo. It made sense that he’d be responsible, and you knew he was capable of worse, even before you were confined to the space between four unbearably lavish walls. It was a miracle you were only chained up, honestly. You weren’t delusional enough to convince yourself a pair of broken legs would be more convenient, for someone as busy as Diavolo.

You knew all these things, and yet, you couldn’t seem to think of him as your captor.

It just… didn’t make sense. You doubted it ever would.

That might’ve been why you hesitated when he first stepped into your gilded cage. You’d woken up an hour ago, give or take, and spent every minute you were given jerking at your chains or looking for an escape route or struggling, in one form or another. And yet, when that carved, stone door finally creaked open, you found yourself tensing, dropping what you were doing and scrambling towards the end of the massive bed you woke up on, a plea for help already playing on your tongue. Trusting him was reflexive, too ingrained to be anything but the first option. You only forced yourself to swallow the instinct back down when you saw his expression.

Or more accurately, the broad, self-satisfied smile pulled across it, too wide to mean anything good.

He was the first to speak, unsurprisingly. He’d always been the one to take the initiative, between the two of you. “Good morning, (Y/n).”

“Let me go.” You tried to sound confident, to be assertive, convictive, but by the time the words made it through your lips, they were little more than a half-hearted mumble, the kind of astounded whisper Diavolo was kind enough not to acknowledge. “I… I need you to let me go. I don’t know what kind of prank you’re trying to pull, but I’ll go along with it willingly, you don’t to handcuff me--”

You were cut off by a low, throaty laugh, the kind of chuckle that made you feel both humiliated and sobered, pitied and pathetic for every believing you weren’t. You averted your eyes without thinking, dropping your gaze to the satin bedsheets and only glancing back up when the mattress dipped under his weight, Diavolo soon perched on the edge of the bed. Idly, he waved you over, beckoning you towards him, and mindlessly, you obeyed. You were too shocked to resist when a strong arm came up, wrapping around your waist and pulling you into his lap, forcing your chest against his, Diavolo’s chin coming to rest on your shoulder as he let out a content sigh. Like he’d been waiting for this.

You shuddered, pushing the thought from your mind before you could linger on it. You couldn’t afford to, not until he gave you some time to think.

“I’m sorry,” He muttered, his voice low, but not unwelcoming. You were tempted to melt into it, accept the affection and mull over your situation later, but Diavolo didn’t give you the chance to adjust. “I wanted to be here when you woke up. I knew you’d be a little…” He trailed off, taking a moment to survey the damage. Torn pillows, disheveled sheets, overturned furniture, all the evidence he needed of your less-than-rational reaction. His silence was enough to make you curl into yourself, guilt forming a knot in the pit of your stomach despite your better judgment. You knew you shouldn’t blame yourself, not when he was the being so weird, but… he was Diavolo. There was only so much you could do not to feel inferior. “I knew you’d be on edge, but I thought having someone there would help to keep you calm. It’s the least I could do, considering how alien this must seem.”

“I don’t understand,” You admitted, attempting to straighten your back, to pull away and look at him properly, but Diavolo only pulled you closer, his hold growing more firm. Not tight, just… strict. Unrelenting. You had a feeling he wouldn’t be willing to let go anytime soon. “I can leave, right? I know the door was locked, but… you have to let me go. This can’t be what I think it is.”

“It is.” The explanation was brief, but you felt something deflate in your chest, your heart skipping a beat before stopping altogether. This time, Diavolo allowed you just far enough to see the shock spread across your features, that wide-eyed betrayal that seemed to bother him more than all of your previous complaints put together. His smile wavered, but only slightly, his grin still in place as he leaned forward, pushing his lips against your forehead in something too onesided to be a kiss. His didn’t move as he went on, letting your skin stifle his voice. You couldn’t say you minded his explanation being a little more difficult to hear. “I know this might seem strange to you, but it’s not uncommon among demons. Think of it as a… courting ritual, if that makes sense. We’ll get to know each other, and I’ll show you how well I can provide. You’ll want for nothing, while you’re in my care.”

You were quiet, for a moment. Speechless. When you spoke, you did so reluctantly. “You’re kidnapping me.”

“Not kidnapping,” He corrected, his enthusiasm returning in full-force. “I’m caring for you. You’ll see that this is for the best, in a few weeks.”

It might’ve been the panic. You’d put it off, but there was no excuse, now, no reason to push it down any further than you already had. The panic, or the dread, or the alarm or the anxiety or the terror of being trapped with someone you’d only ever known as a figure to fear, if only by Lucifer’s account. Either way, you found yourself clawing at his blazer, shoving him away and clambering for any advantage you could find, trying to resist, even if you knew you wouldn’t be able to get very far. But, Diavolo’s grip was iron-clad, and a squeeze to your waist and a flattened palm against your back was enough to keep you in place, despite your continued efforts to resist. “You can’t do this,” You spat, more for yourself than for him. “Lucifer’s going to find out, and his brothers, they’re going to know something’s wrong. They’ll come for me.”

“Maybe they will,” He started, his hold suddenly choking, strangling, too tight not to be purposeful. “But, they’re preoccupied, at the moment. They’re going to be mourning the departure of their beloved human for a very long time, considering how suddenly you returned to the Human World.” He paused, sighing, the gesture made less sentimental by the grin still biting into your neck. “You didn’t even stop to say goodbye. How cruel of you, (Y/n).”

You went stiff. There was another breathy, pain-staking laugh, and Diavolo pulled you closer, impossibly closer. You wondered if you’d suffocate before he had the chance to show you just how dedicated he really was.

“We’re going to have plenty of time together, my love. No one’s coming to your rescue.”

Youtuber MC - Part 3

Summary: Mc and the demon brothers find out they are in a game, they gain the access to watch a YouTuber's (who is MC) gameplay of the game. This basically allows the bros to hear MC’s true thoughts through their gameplay commentary

MC: This MC is based on my gameplay of the game and my thoughts. Although the MC is based on me I will be writing them with gender-neutral pronouns for all readers to enjoy :).

As this was being said Solomon shot Simeon a knowing look and smile which was quickly returned, but went unnoticed by the others. The attention of the room was then shifted as the Onscreen MC began their outro.

“Okay my lovelies that is all I will be playing for today. So far we’ve met all the brothers, I think except one and we have found a brethren of ours. None other than our fellow Otaku Levi, he is kind of mean to me but I’m sure we can win him over. Also Mammon just straight up ditched me, but it’s fine, whatever. Anyway don’t forget to subscribe, like, and comment, and I will see y’all next time.”

Off-screen MC clicked onto the next video. After the intro onscreen MC and Levi were still chatting in Levi’s room.

Levi:I don’t think there’s any harm in just coming out and saying what you already know is true; Mammon is a complete and utter scumbag. It’s very important that you understand this. So I’ll say it one more time. Mammon is a hopeless worthless scumbag.

“Goddamn Levi. Everyone is really laying it on thick that Mammon is a scumbag, I really don’t think he could possibly be that bad,” the MC onscreen said

“Oi see MC always thought the Great Mammon was good,” shouted mammon off-screen.

“Actually they said they don’t think you could be that bad, considering how impossibly awful you are that comes as no surprise,” chimed in Asmo

“Actually, I don’t think Mammon is bad at all,” off-screen MC added.

“Yeah! See MC doesn’t think I’m a scumbag end of story,” Mammon finished.

Back onscreen Levi was telling the tale of how he and Mammon first became “enemies.”

Levi:...As I started to lose consciousness, I remember thinking...why does he have to sleep in the nude? He could at least put on some underwear. I don’t remember anything else after that...

“Haha! Wow there is a lot to unpack there, but moral of the story Mammon is super strong, good to note,” MC onscreen observed. 

Levi: You’ve seen just how fast he is yourself, haven’t you? No one aside from Lucifer or Beel has that kind of speed. But if, say, a human made a pact with Mammon and bound him to their service...then he’d have to do whatever that human told him to.

“A pact? Like selling my soul?,” questioned MC onscreen.

MC: I don’t want to give up my soul!

Levi: That isn’t always necessary. It depends on what’s in the pact. But, well, you need to give SOMETHING to the demon to make it worth the exchange, so it’s pretty much inevitable. If you don’t want to give up your soul, then I’ll tell you how you can negotiate with Mammon

MC: How would I go about doing that?

Levi: If you just walk up to Mammon and ask him to make a pact with you, he’ll never agree. No, you need some leverage... something he wants so badly that he’d do ANYTHING to get it.

“Aw I don’t want to like force Mammon to make a pact with me. That feels so icky,” complained onscreen MC. 

The lesson ends and onscreen MC continues to the next one. The scene shows MC walking to class passing two nearby demons.

Demon A: Hey check it out. That’s the human that everyone’s been talking about. You think it’s true what they say, that Mammon became a babysitter?

Demon B: Well, if so, then I’d say that actually works out great, doncha think? If we wait and strike when he’s not paying attention, he’ll never figure out it was us. 

“Okay, so we can either run away or make a move. Earlier Mammon told us to always run away so I’m going to follow his advice and do just that.” 

Solomon: Hey, you there. That’s right, I’m talking to you, the human with that frightened, tormented look on your face that demons love so much. You’re practically screaming “Come and eat me! I’m scrumptious!” Your name’s MC, isn’t it?

“Okay first of all, rude, secondly I assume this is the other human in the exchange program,” stated Onscreen MC.

At this Solomon off-screen let out a light chuckle as he half-heartedly apologized to MC. 

Solomon: This D.D.D here belongs to you, right? I saw you drop it just now. Here, take it. 

“Thanks...,” MC onscreen said. 

Solomon: Haha. What’s with that look? there’s no need to be suspicious of me. My Name’s Solomon. I’m an exchange student from the human world, just like you. Nice to meet you, Johanna.

“Okay, no offense, Solomon, but you are suspicious, well maybe more mysterious I guess,” said MC onscreen. “Also, it’s interesting that he’s named Solomon, like King Solomon from the bible. Okay, so, my three options are ‘I need your help’ I’m not asking that, ‘How do you know my name?’ and ‘Are you really human.’”

MC: Are you really human?

Solomon: Haha, good question. Honestly, there are times when even I’m not so sure. Long ago, I obtained a ring of wisdom- a gift from a certain someone in a VERY high position. And, drunk on its power, I used it to form pacts with 72 different demons, becoming a wicked sorcerer...That is, if you believe all the stories people tell about me. 

“That is super interesting, I don’t know about the Bible, but in the Quran King Solomon actually got his powers from God himself. He had many powers but his most notable being that he ruled every being on Earth, including Gin (Quran version of demons basically,) but he was considered a good guy and a prophet of God, not a wicked sorcerer. So that’s just an interesting parallel there,” Onscreen MC spoke.

At this everyone in the room grew quiet taking in MC’s words, not fully understanding what they were referring to. 

Solomon: Regardless, I’m fairly sure that I am indeed still human, though it may not seem like it...Uh-oh. I’d better get going. See you around, MC. Take care of yourself.

“Okay, that was weird and I’m immediately interested in learning more about Solomon”

Lucifer: Good morning, Johanna

“Good morning, Lucifer <3,” MC said in a singsong voice

At this Lucifer smirked, earning a certain knowing look from Diavolo before scowling again. 

MC: Good morning, sir. 

Lucifer: Looks like you made it through the night without being eaten. Good for you. Still, there’s no guarantee that you’ll make it to tomorrow. Was that Solomon I saw you talking with either?  Seeing as you’re both human, it’s fine if you associate with him, but know that he can’t be trusted. 

“Awe, is Lucifer jealous of little ole Solomon,” teased the onscreen MC.

At this Solomon let out a laugh, while Belphie and Satan smirked at each other and then MC. Lucifer just scowled more. 

Lucifer: He may be a mere human, but he has a ring imbued with wisdom, and he wields powerful magic. He’s the type of man who will try to subjugate even a powerful, greater demon if he gets the chance. 

MC: that reminds me of what Leviathan said...

After that the scene ended and MC began their usual outro. While they spoke Solomon turned to MC

“So, I’m suspicious and mysterious?” 

MC blushed then replied with “Okay, everyone at that time was suspicious and mysterious to me. Unlike you I only had the knowledge of what various religions said which to be frank wasn’t very helpful.” 

“Human religions are weird and very misconstrued. Especially with the relationship of the three realms,” acknowledged Satan. 

“You know considering the information you came to Devildom with you adjusted quite quickly, MC,” added Simeon.

“I think it’s always good to have an open mind and just go with the flow sometimes,” finished MC

Would the brothers cheat and if they did why (Also I put it in order of who I think is least likely to cheat to mostly likely)

Beelzebub: I really can't see him cheating in anyway. He doesn't seem particularly interested in relationships unless there's a deep bond attached. Perhaps he would trade a kiss with someone for food if he was really hungry, but I don't see him going any further. He might not think anything of it and not tell MC simply because he didn't see it as romantic, but a transaction. But if he knew it was something MC would be upset with he would tell them immediately and apologize profusely and maybe even straving himself for a few days as a punishment

Leviathan: I really doubt Levi would ever cheat. He feels super lucky to have someone as amazing as you loving an otaku like him. He also doesn't have the confidence to seek out other lovers when he's not in a relationship let alone when he's committed. If he did cheat I feel like it would be with an idol of his, maybe the Ruri-chan voice actor or this one singer he absolutely adores. He definitely wouldn't initate anything, but he's infatutation with his idol wouldn't let him turn down the opportunity. He would tell MC fairly quickly and he'd be absolute mess afterwards. The amount of self-loathing and guilt he feels after ways him down for centuries after you're gone. He would also remove all the merch he has of that person trying to purge them from his life completely.

Belphegor: He also doesn't seem like the cheating type to me. Belphegor has made many mistakes and misjudgements in his life, but once you had finally forgiven him for what he did he vowed to never hurt you in anyway again. And honestly no one really stands out to him the way you do. If he did cheat I feel like it would be out of spite. Maybe he and MC got into a fight, he needed to hurt her back somehow. I feel like he would stop halfway through realizing what a terribly mistake he made. He wouldn't tell MC, but would feel the guilt everytime they looked at him.

Satan: Satan is pretty standard and I feel like any relationship with him would be too. He has a great respect for you and would never want to hurt you in anyway. Although he would never act on it there are times when he feels desire for others, it's usually a passing thought, but it is there. If he did cheat I feel like Satan would simply become infatuted with someone else. This one mysterious girl keeps appearing at the library. She exudes confidence and wastes no time making a move on him. Eventually the tension would be too much and Satan would give him. He doesn't tell MC, but when they confront him he's very honest. He flys into a rage, not at MC, but at the girl who seduced him, the one who took him away from MC. Afterwards he's left with just guilt and emptiness.

Lucifer: Lucifer is the strongest of the brothers and certainly has the most admirers, but he has no problem commiting solely to the human who stole his heart. He loves you and really only wants you. But being the avatar of pride has it's faults. If he did cheat similar to Belphegor it woild be purposeful. Maybe he got too possesive over you and started a fight about, whatever happened you hurt his pride. He wants to reclaim his pride by letting you know you don't own him, he is free to do whatever he wants whenever he wants. If he knew there was someone you got jealous over or didn't like he would make sure he slept with them just to salt the wound. When his anger went away he would realize that he just ruined his relationship with you. He would do anything in his power to keep you from finding out, even threatening the girl to keep quiet. If you confronted him he wouldn't lie. If you ever did find out he would always remember the look of pure betrayal on your face.

Mammon: This one has me on the fence, on hand I feel it would literally be impossible for Mammon to cheat, but on the other I really feel like he would succumb to his greed. Mammon loves you and would never see anyone else as nearly half of how amazing you, but he also loves Goldie. I feel like he would cheat to pay off a debt, canonically he has used ulterior methods to repay his debts. Mammon is not a liar he goes straight to you sobbing begging you to forgive him. In trying to redeem himself he ends up really getting his greed into check. He pays off nearly all his debt in legitmate ways and saves up to buy you anything you've ever wanted. He seriously can't live without you and will never forgive himself even if you do. He also finally stands up to whoever used the debt to seduce him and shows his demon form to them. No witch or mortal ever pushes Mammon aound for centuries after that.

Asmodeus: Okay don't think Asmo would cheat because I think he would be honest about not commiting strictly to you. He would straight up tell you the deal and you can either accept or decline. If you really really want a monogamus relationship Asmo would really try, he has never loved anyone like he has you. If he cheated it'd be more like a relapse. He's addicted, it's his sin, his temptation. Being at a club and seeing and feeling all the lust around him would drive him crazy and he would just give in. He would tell you a few months after, he feels more shameful than he does guiltly. He feels weak for not being able to overcome his sin for you

Do you think Asmo’s the only brother who would cheat on MC? Or is there a chance others would too 😭😭😭

Hmm, I haven’t thought about it before, to be honest with you, nonnie. Given that demons are very bad at resisting temptations, I, personally, would assume that some of them would cheat given the right circumstances. But I don’t have a firm opinion here.

Youtuber MC - Part 2

Summary: Mc and the demon brothers find out they are in a game, they gain the access to watch a YouTuber's (who is MC) gameplay of the game. This basically allows the bros to hear MC’s true thoughts through their gameplay commentary

MC: This MC is based on my gameplay of the game and my thoughts. Although the MC is based on me I will be writing them with gender-neutral pronouns for all readers to enjoy :).

As onscreen MC wrapped up their video everyone turned to MC who was completely embarrassed. Lucifer, in particular, was staring holes into them sporting his signature condescending smirk.

“I didn’t realize I made such a good first impression with you, MC,” smiled Lucifer

“Let’s just start the next episode please,” exclaimed MC and she took the remote from Levi.

Off-screen MC quickly clicked onto the next video silently praying that no more embarrassing stuff would be said by their counterpart. Everyone grew quiet as the MC onscreen began their introduction and recap of last episode

“Alrighty guys let’s get started on another lesson of ‘Obey Me.’”

As onscreen MC was introduced to the rest of the brothers and given the rundown of her responsibilities she made little to no comments. That was until onscreen Mammon appeared.

Mammon: HEY! Just who do you think you are, human? You’ve got a lotta nerve summoning the Great Mammon! Listen up, because I’m only gonna say this once. If you value your life, then you’ll hand over all of your money now! And anything else of value, too! Otherwise I’ll wipe that stupid, happy-go-lucky look right off of your face...by eatin’ you! Startin’ at your head and working my way down, until

“Woah this dude needs to chill out. He’s gonna eat me? Well, I mean, I know a certain kind of eating I’d let him do,” Onscreen MC winked suggestive at the camera.

Off-screen everyone began giggling again. This time MC wasn’t the only one flustered and embarrassed. Mammon’s face had quickly grown bright red as he muttered something unintelligible under his breath. 

Satan: MC, Mammon here is the Avatar of Greed. He governs and oversees all forms of it. Whenever he takes a liking to someone, they suddenly find themselves awash in money. 

Onscreen Satan began explaining Mammon’s powers when Asmodeus chimed in with:

Asmodeus: And he’s also a masochist. That part’s important. 

Onscreen MC began laughing while saying “I agree, Asmodeus, that is very important.” 

The onscreen brothers began bickering and onscreen MC continued clicking away until the lesson ended

“Alrighty so Mammon is in charge of us for right now and he does not seem very happy about it. Also it appears that Lucifer is like the head of the brothers and is definitely in charge of them. Alright let’s continue on” 

MC returned to the game just as Mammon began showing them around the House of Lamentation.

Mammon: This is the House of Lamentation. It’s one of the dorms here at RAD. Now it’s time I show you to your room..

The pair were quickly interrupted by a demon onscreen MC had yet to see

Levi: How about this? I vote for YOU to die, Mammon.

“Woah who is this guy rocking the purple hair? I dig it,” MC onscreen laughed.

Off-screen Leviathan grew very flustered and quickly glanced at off-screen MC before hiding his face away. 

Levi: Mammon, give me back my money. Then go crawl in a hole and die.

Mammon: Listen, human. You remember my advice from before about what to do when demons attack? Well, you’re about to witness that for real. So...time for you to die, because if it’s either you or me, it ain’t gonna be me!

“Oh my god!  He straight up just ditched me. Wow, I’m offended,” the MC onscreen said. 

“That sounds about right  for Mammon,” said off-screen Satan while everyone else murmured an agreement.

“Oi! I ain’t that bad, I didn’t know MC well then,” defended off-screen Mammon

Levi: Do you realize what just happened? Mammon used you as a sacrifice. I’ll admit that Mammon is one of the scummiest scumbags you’ll ever meet...a total lowlife. But still, that was pretty dumb of you letting him use you like that.

“Wow, goddamn. Why is everyone here so rude,” lamented onscreen MC

Levi and Mammon seemed to take the comment to heart. 

Levi: Are you free right now? Of course you are. You know what? Never mind. Either way, you’re coming with me. 

In the game MC gets dragged off by Leviathan to his room. 

Levi: You want to know why I looked around to see if anyone was watching before I closed the door? Why do you THINK I did it? Imagine what would happen if someone saw me inviting you into my room! A human who doesn’t even look like an otaku, but a normie!” 

“Oh my god! Levi’s an otaku! Yes! I found one of my people. Okay so I have three options I’m choosing ‘Actually, I’m an otaku, too.’ represent brother,” onscreen MC said as they grew very excited. 

Soon Levi began his rave about the Tale Of Seven Lords. He began explaining the characters, their relationships, and various other TSL trivia. 

“Aw Levi is so cute! So obviously TSL is about the brothers, Lord of Corruption is Lucifer, Lord of Fools is Mammon, Lord of Shadows is Levi, and so on. And I assume I’m the Henry of the brothers, that’s some interesting world building there. I wonder if we’ll get some foreshadowing from that. I love him just ranting about things he loves, I feel like Levi and I will be good friends. Now it says I have three options, I’m choosing ‘Right! Screw all the normies! Who needs ‘em?’,”  MC clicked on their choice. 

Yeah, screw them!

“Levi is literally so cute,” MC onscreen exclaimed

“MC, is this really what you thought me? I’m just a yucky otaku, I’m not cute,” asked off-screen Levi. 

He had been very flustered ever since MC had first called him cute. MC reached down and grabbed Levi’s hand giving it a little squeeze.

“Of course I did and still do! I’m your Henry, Levi,” MC said while they smiled down at Levi

“MC, I thought it was interesting the comparison you made of the TSL characters to us brothers,” chimed in Satan.

“Yes, now that you mention it there is quite a strong correlation between the characters and us,” added Lucifer. 

As this was being said Solomon shot Simeon a knowing look and smile which was quickly returned, but went unnoticed by the others. The attention of the room was then shifted as the Onscreen MC began their outro. 

“Okay my lovelies that is all I will be playing for today. So far we’ve met all the brothers, I think except one and we have found a brethren of ours. None other than our fellow Otaku Levi, he is kind of mean to me but I’m sure we can win him over. Also Mammon just straight up ditched me, but it’s fine, whatever.
