Friends, the ammount of fanart I've wanted to draw since I saw that movie is not even funny. Some of you may know that my creativity is fuled by two things: beauty and angst. In short I was shot full of hyperfuel and promptly given no time to draw.

I was recently thinking about how movie Mikey is as old as show Raph and it's kind of strange to think about

if you could change one thing about rottmnt, what would it be?

one whole thing? because i think how id normally answer a question like this would be "structure the second half of s2 better/introduce karai earlier" but that's not the fault of the writers, they worked with what they had. so i guess the genuine answer would be to UNPAUSE THE SHOWWWW

regardless like. if i had to change One detail i guess. i'd probably make raph like a year or two older than he is. i think him currently only being a year older than the twins isnt bad and it already has some angsty implications, but i think him being put in this role developmentally as a child would make a lot more sense if he was juuust a little older. like a three year age gap between teens goes a long way.

Meme for Chapter 3 of BHoaDC

Sometimes, time seems to move in a vicious cycle, repeating itself in a painfully astonishing manner, as if mocking humanity’s ability to learn from its mistakes. Two images are separated by 75 years, yet they appear as though no time has passed as if the gap between them is merely a few fleeting moments.

The first image: A Palestinian elder holding the keys to his home, from which he was forcibly displaced after the Nakba of 1948. An image filled with pain, with tears that dried on faces, and hearts that collapsed under the weight of loss. Yet, hope for return still filled those hearts.

The second image: A recent photo that tells the same story, but this time, the protagonist is my young sister, Maryam, holding the keys to our home from which we were displaced after the Nakba of 2023.

There is no difference between the two stories, except that this time, the story is even harsher and more painful.

History seems to repeat itself, but this time, it comes with a level of suffering that humanity has never witnessed before. The killing and destruction that have ravaged both the land and its people have become more brutal at a time when many believed humanity had learned from the lessons of the past.

I'm human, and I'm asking you to act from your humanity.

I love it when everyone takes the time in the middle of a fight to tell Mikey he's doing a good job.

Now, it's pretty obvious that Mikey is super supportive of his bros,

BUT HIS BROTHERS DO THE SAME THING FOR HIM AND IT'S THE CUTEST THING!

When he threw an entire cruise ship at Shredder?

"Whoa..." "That's amazing, Mikey!"

And look how proud Raph is!

And even when they were taking over the technodrome and all Mikey did was duck at the right time which led to Brother Krang accidently knocking himself out, what does Donnie take the time to say?

"Bravo, Mikey!"

He gave him the credit without hesitation. Told him his instincts were spot on and he made the best move.
