Sitting here thinking about how I watched Violet Evergarden and loved it and cried at every episode. And then like 4 years later found out they made a movie and Violet married the man who had known her since she was 10 who was like twice her age.

Sitting here thinking about how a lot of the "discourse" about this online boils down to people defending this ending for the series because "that's how things were back then" and "it's fiction" and "Violet made her own independent choice to be with him".

Nah dawg. Guess I'm just too sigma cuz I don't vibe with p*do shit like that.
