I’m actually starting to believe it really is possible to get through hard days. I’ve been through so many now. When I’m in the midst of it, I can recall the previous times I’ve felt this way, thinking it will forever be like that, but then in a week’s time, it usually fades away. So when disappointment strikes, someone speaks to me harshly, I get home from a bad date, I get rejected, I get left out, I feel behind, I don’t know what I’m doing… I’ll notice how uncomfortable I am in that moment, but I always say to myself “it won’t be so bad in a week, give it a week.” And it is in fact always better in a week.

Birthdays.

They can be fun. They can be heart breaking. They can be good, they can be bad. They can be surprising, they can be disappointing. They can be filled with extreme joy, they can be filled with extreme sorrow. The mood swings one goes through in just one day are impeccable. You want to be invincible yet you wanna be invisible. You want to feel wanted, yet you don't trust anyone with your self. You will feel the extreme low or the extreme high. You will expect a lot, but at the same time don't expect anything.

When have you started to realise that the closest of your friends are so selfish? Let's put down a list of how toxic friends are.

When you tell them you have a problem, they are quick yo tell that they've had a much bigger problem.

When you're telling something that's important to you, they won't even bother listening. Remembering is just further than that.

When you've made plans together for a week, and they end up ditching you.

Even when you meet, half the conversations are basically them asking if they're looking fine. I understand people ask that. But asking that every two minutes can get annoying.

Self obsessed people don't realise that they're that way, and they'll become victims if they're accused.
