Quincy watched in silence as the boy pulled a shirt over his head— one of Quincy’s, far too big on him— and revealed a head of curly white hair. When the boy turned and made eye contact with Quincy, he didn’t seem startled. He just tilted his head to the side, curious.

“…Hello?” Quincy tried, hoping the boy could speak. It would be much harder to figure out what the hell was going on if he couldn’t.
