Today I had a chat with my landlord who used to be a pilot and he was explaining the planes he used to fly and he ended up mentioning B-17s and was shocked that I referred to them as the fortress planes and said hardly anyone ever knew that. The current state of my job with the Department of Natural Resources has drained me of all life and creativity for the past few months but listening to the MPreg ep of @oraclechats at work on a Friday has seemingly cured me.

Lowkey loving this hurricane weather. Like I’ve cleaned my whole place top to bottom. I’ve stocked up on snacks and drinks. I’m sitting here on my porch while it rains with a full cup of Diet Coke, 25 books downloaded on my kindle, my writing notebook next to me, and my temp foster dog chilling at my feet. It’s been raining for the past three days and is going to rain till Friday. Really it’s just peak cozy vibes right now.

(Obviously this is not true for the people directly in the impact zone/path and my heart goes out to them and I hope everyone is safely evacuated)

George’s mouth was dry. He pulled back, away from Joe’s neck, enough to find his eyes. He thought about Aldbourne, and the billet, about Holland.

love the idea of joe ogling web ever since toccoa but never talking to him because they were in different companies. like he gets his looksies in whenever he can because what’s a guy to do. then eventually web joins easy and opens his stupid mouth and joe realizes he’s incredibly annoying but it’s too late he’s already a goner

I think it’s very fun!! Keeping with Webs narrative of being a writer witness I think he’d ship himself on a train west during/after (timelines are fuzzy) the California gold rush in the US to document what’s happening and of course he sits his ass on one that gets robbed!

I have some little notes on the rest of it but really I just wanted an excuse to write a train heist and scenic western imagery, plus Cowboy!Joe and greater Easy Company have become enigma’s that I’m very attached to!

WIP Ask Game
