The Scobie's + Snow
The first photo shoot of our 'photo safari weekend' was of the lovely Scobie family... Unfortunately the falling snow turned into an ice blizzard that was so thick our camera's struggled to focus...
After a few very cold minutes we gave into the elements and decided to jump back in the car and find a spot a little less blizzard-like down the mountain...

CHELSEA & Jr. How does that song go again? "Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow"... and snow it certainly did! The beautiful Chelsea and the very sweet Jr. who got to play in the snow for the very first time in front of our cameras. Jr. was so well behaved and only munched occasionally on our props :) Despite the cold Chelsea rocked it and we can't wait to photograph her marrying her lovely fiancé Sam at the end of the year... A big THANK YOU to Chelsea, Sam, Jr. for giving up their Sunday to join us in the snow and to the girls at Jean Louise in Tumut for another amazing make-up session.

BRITT - SNOW QUEEN Britt was one very brave model, who did an amazing job on Saturday! Not only did she wear a wire corset made from an old gate, but she stood out in a blizzard so we could capture these images and didn't complain at all! What a STAR! Thank you Britt! A big THANK YOU also goes to the girls at JEAN LOUISE in Tumut for supplying Britt's awesome snow queen make-up, it was a work of art!

Wedding Anniversary
Yesterday would have been the 190th wedding anniversary of my Great-great-great-great grandparents William & Martha... They were married in St Peter's Church at Campbelltown, NSW... (above is a picture of their marriage certificate from our family history book)... I know their special day would have been completely different to the weddings I photograph these days, but I'm sure it was filled with joy, love and laughter all the same...
