Wait, genuine question, I thought it was considered obvious that there are differences between transphobia against trans women and transphobia against trans men. Or am I misunderstanding the term transandrophobia?

there are differences, correct, but i think people have a fundamental misunderstanding of the word "transmisogyny" and what it implies: it is the intersection/synthesis of transphobia (which other trans people also deal with) and misogyny (which cis women also deal with). trans women face oppression for being both trans AND women.

"transandrophobia", therefore, implies the existence of "androphobia", i.e. "misandry", i.e. some axis of oppression that men face strictly for being men. i shouldn't have to explain why rejecting that assertion is feminism 101. trans men obviously face oppression, yes, but strictly for being trans; you can just call the oppression they face "transphobia" and move on
