oooh i miss the days of disney and skeleton rps! are there any available or in the works for older fcs (40+)?

you and me both, anon! pretty much all of the skeletons can be for 40+ characters since most of them just have a minimum age (usually 25) but you can definitely make the characters older! for specific skeletons though, i can see mad hatter, simba, naveen, hades, elsa, captain hook & prince charming!

WILBUR ROBINSON - they're the black cat to your golden retriever and sometimes your brain might try to play catch up to their brain, but they have to play catch up when it comes to you and your excitement when it comes to quite literally anything. you always try to see the good side of things, and they don't, which is why you think the two of you are such a good match.

ZARINA - are you scared of them? absolutely. do you still want to be around them? absolutely. you know they think of you as a little annoying but is it such a crime to have a little crush?

JANE PORTER - they love to look into things, and you're more than happy to help. maybe a part of you wonders if they're using you and your knowledge of the town and the people, but surely, you're not doing any harm by just answering some questions, right? plus, they seem to make it worth your while.

you never knew love until you held that baby in your arms. you swore to yourself that you'd do anything to protect them, even if it means removing yourself from a marriage that at one point you had thought was perfect. after all, they were rich, powerful, made you feel safe and secure but the divorce was messy, the battle for custody gruesome but you won, and you will continue to win. not just for yourself, but for that kid holding your hand through it all too.

CONNECTIONS:

BEAST - seems you have a bad habit of collecting men who aren't ready to be a parent. the relationship was great, but you had proceeded with caution, only for it to still end anyways. you understand why it had to end, but there's some resentment there as to why it took them so long to tell you, as if they didn't know you had a kid in the first place.

DISGUST - your ride or die. you two can be secret haters in peace. late nights full of wine and whispered confessions of your true feelings. they see you for who you are and you see them for who they are and the both of you accept each other completely. they're definitely your platonic soulmate.

FIX-IT FELIX JR. - it feels like you've gotten so used to people around you treating you differently because you're a single mother that when someone actually treats you with kindness, it makes you feel taken aback. they make you feel as safe and secure as your ex-husband, but you don't know if it's just platonic on their end or if you're just craving connection and intimacy.

[ aaron taylor-johnson, cis man, he/him ] - was that BEAST i saw around town today? nope, turns out it was ROMAN RIVERS, the 36-year old ANIMAL SHELTER OWNER & EX-HITMAN who has lived in town for HIS WHOLE LIFE ON AND OFF. i heard they have a reputation of being DEVOTED & CLOSED OFF. let’s hope the killer doesn’t go after them next while being here in grimmvale. 

CONNECTIONS:

IMELDA RIVERA - the relationship was going well, the first in your so called 'new life', but you just don't think you're ready to be a stepfather, or a parent at all really. you know it wasn't fair on them for you to keep being in a relationship when you can't be a part of their kid's life too so you had to cut it off.

GISELLE - you don't know what it is about them that just grates on your nerves. maybe it's because they play off like they're a little too naive, when you don't think that's the case. you also find it amusing that they seem to be friendly with everybody else but can't stand being around you. it's like a fun game of cat and mouse, with no risk of feelings. or so you think.

ZARINA - the ride or die. your ex-partner when it came to jobs under the table. you both have known each other since you were younger, been through each other's major ups and downs, quite literally had each other's backs, and understand each other completely when it comes to trying to figure out how to balance your old life with your new one.

Would ya'll add characters from Anastasia? Love this so much & same thing w Pixar films?!

personally, anastasia would have to be a firm no because it would make me uncomfortable having a character that's very much inspired by a real-life tragedy be played ( despite knowing it's just going to be used as inspiration ), but i'll definitely be looking more into the pixar films to see what we can work with from there!

it's definitely something i've been thinking about! they would have no pre-set connections, though, and none of the characters with skeletons inspired by them can be applied for but if people would like that, i'd be more than happy to adjust the group to take them in! tag lurkers & potential members, what do you guys think?

i'm a little confused. how do the characters have pre-set connections? and if they are inspired by disney characters, does that mean they have some of their personalities or similar origin stories? how would that work with their current shady occupations?

this is a skeleton roleplay where i have written skeletons with pre-set connections, as a starting point for members & potential members' characters. this is not a disney roleplay. at its core, this group is a crime, mystery & small town roleplay where some of the skeletons do have similar personalities to their animated counterparts, some of them do have similar origin stories but they are not those characters, since those disney characters are merely just inspiration. that's it. this is still an original character roleplay at the end of the day since the skeleton also works as an inspiration for your own character. if you have any more questions, please feel free to send them in!

hi! i just wanted to ask if you have any rules around naming characters (aside from being ethnically appropriate of course!). i have a muse in mind who happens to share the same “first” name as one of the skeletons i think they’d fit — would that be an issue? thank you in advance!

hi! as long as the name won't be the same first name as any of the original characters (which you can see in the characters page) we already have then you're okay!
