//Another little update for everyone - I am awaiting surgery, currently. I go Wednesday for my consult with the surgeon and I will know then how long I have to wait for this hell to be over. Fingers crossed and good vibes it’s REALLY soon. Like this week or next preferably.
At any rate, my activity will continue to be spotty to almost non-existent as this continues. Currently, I am almost constantly in pain, but have had to return to work. When I am home I am resting. When I get surgery it may be a minute until I can sit at my laptop comfortable enough to write replies etc.
Any well wishes and patience are much appreciated. <3 Thank you all!

The years had been long, and while hard, they weren’t nearly as hard on him as they should have been– he had his work to thank for that. He had put considerable effort into creating the restorative potions that he kept for himself, the elixir that kept him mobile, kept his wits about him… Yes, his hair was peppered with more grey than it had been fifty years ago, but wouldn’t anyone’s be, at this rate? With everything going on in this world?
“That’s a mighty fine dog you have there,” was his only response to her greeting, but as she closed the distance between them and asked where he was headed, he gestured in the direction he was heading.
“Brightwall, of course! I’ve got a satchel full of potion ingredients and far too much work to do….” He paused, squinting at her. “You look familiar… I know you from somewhere, don’t I?”
It was luck, or perhaps some sort of fate, that she was headed to Brightwall herself. She offered the older man a smile, tucking a strand of her hair behind her ear, motioning for her dog to follow. “He’s a good boy.”
Staring down the path, she readied herself for the journey. It shouldn’t take long and she was sure she could travel with the old alchemist. It wasn’t much, she knew, but it was a simple gesture that was the least that she could do, especially since she was already heading to Brightwall.
“Me?” She didn’t exactly want to be recognized as the Princess or Logan’s little sister. She needed to become her own person. She shook her head, shrugging. “Maybe we’ve seen each other in travel before.”
She paused a moment, offering another smile. “I’ll tell you what... I’m on my way to Brightwall, too. What do you say we travel together?”

“Of course I’m aware of the dangers! They’re balverines, not bloody puppies! But sacrifices have to be made in the name of science, and my personal safety is a small price to pay for a discovery that may revolutionize the way we treat balverine bites….”
He trailed off, rummaging in the satchel he carried for several moments before pulling out a potion in a red vial. “I have the health potion right here… One of my own personal formulations. You’ll never find a better one.” He tucked it back into his bag. “So, you come with me, and once I’ve finished my research, it’s all yours. What do you say?”
Sparrow’s brow arched for a moment while the nutter alchemist kept talking. He was no stranger to wild claims. He’d heard far too many to count in his lifetime. This claim was no different. It was, in fact, the health potion that he was more invested in, injured as he was.
With the potion in sight, he perked up, only to have it dangled away from him. He sighed, as this was something he was accustomed to as well. People liked to hold their rewards as bargains until he did what they asked for. He supposed he had walked into this, but he wondered if the alchemist knew that he was injured and if he wanted any protection at all, and he wagered the man would need a significant amount, he needed to rest and heal his wounds.
Shifting, his faithful dog letting out something akin to an annoyed grumble at his feet, he responded to the man. “Very well, but if you’re expecting protection from me, there’s only so much I can do when already wounded. Don’t say I didn’t warn you...”

The alchemist regarded the stranger curiously for a moment before he spoke. “Is that so? I do hope you mean that there’s balverines out there, I happen to need one quite urgently.” Test subjects were becoming so dreadfully hard to find, and it wasn’t as though he could simply hang up signs around Bowerstone asking for anyone who just so happened to be a balverine to come visit his shop after dusk.
He eyed the stranger again, eyes travelling over the dirty clothing, the wounds, even straying to the dog who traveled with him for a moment. “I am a man of science, you see… An alchemist. And I’ve come up with a potion that I simply must test on a balverine… The effects could be positively revolutionary!” Either that or it would kill the creature; he had to admit that the odds were about fifty-fifty. But he wouldn’t know until he tested it.
He hadn’t given any real thought to what would happen if he encountered more than one balverine, if truth be told, but now that he thought about it… He wondered if he could convince this stranger to come with him. “Perhaps you would like to accompany me? In return, I shall give you a healing potion that’s most extraordinary.”
It wasn’t as though this was the first time he’d heard someone tell him they wanted to go into a forest full of balverines or even hobbes. Sparrow had heard all manner of excuses and explanations. Anything from a lost child to someone’s dead dog left them a buried mound of cheese in the middle of Wraithmarsh that they simply had to have back.
Taking in the man, as he did all others that he encountered, he reserved his judgment of whether or not the man was truly some genius of science or another crackpot that had managed to wander away from the pub. However, he had to admit he was indeed in need of a good potion.
Against his better judgment, the hero gave a nod to man identifying himself as an alchemist. “If you do possess a healing potion, then I could be persuaded to accompany you on your adventure in return for one. So long as you’re aware of the dangers, of course...”

@timoremdei liked for a starter
Leaving the castle that night had not been the path she thought her life was going to take. Everything had spiraled out of control so fast. First, her brother had forced her to choose between the man she’d fallen in love with, or innocent citizens. The princess had managed to choke out to save Elliot, but she would never forgave Logan or herself for the loss of those citizens.
In a whirlwind, she’d left the castle that night with Walter and Jasper, only to find out she was a hero like her father before her had been. The fate of Albion, somehow, was in her hands. It was all so much to take. She was just one person. How could she ever lead a revolution? Much less one against her own brother...
Leanna had found herself under the cover of a large tree, just outside of Mistpeak Valley. Her faithful dog rested at her feet. Lost in thought, she hadn’t heard the villager approaching. Her dog alerted her, standing to his feet and letting out a brief warning whimper. She wiped her eyes as quickly as she could before she got to her feet as well.
Remembering what she’d been told by the blind seer, she knew she had to make some impression. It was time for her to take a stand. There was no going back now, even if she wanted to. She swallowed, calling out to the man. “Hello.”
Feeling her confidence rise, she closed some of the distance between them. She figured she could at least see if the man needed any help from her. “Where are you headed?”

@timoremdei liked for a starter
Injured from an ambush by several balverines, Sparrow was making his way to the nearest inn on his path to rest and heal himself. By his calculations, he’d be able to make it to Bowerstone shortly before the sun came up. Though it seemed like a long journey and his body ached, he pushed forward along with his faithful companion. He knew better than to let his guard down.
He was just turning a corner, eye zeroing in on the other right as his dog let out a small snarl. It was late and, more often than not unless someone were up to ill deeds, these paths remained bare. To see someone that wasn’t a balverine, a bandit or a rogue hobbe was rare enough, let alone for that someone to be traveling alone.
Carefully watching the other, ready to fight at only a mere moment’s notice, her stopped in front of the stranger. “If you were intending to continue to follow this path in that direction, you’ll find yourself a grave.”

@chokethelight liked for a starter ATTN King Logan
Sneaking past Jasper to wander the castle and the grounds had been something she had learned at a young age. She knew just how to keep out of his sight. With a little help from some extra blankets and pillows, she was sure he would never be able to tell the difference or notice she was gone if he came to check on her.
Tonight she’d slipped out after dark at the first chance she could get. The Princess was never one to be confined to her quarters for long. She’d always favored exploring and was quite adventurous. Most of the time, she managed to come back unscathed and tonight was no different.
Having her fill of the castle’s gardens for the night, she headed back inside the castle’s walls. Following the path she’d memorized years ago, making sure to avoid all the creaky floorboards and areas that Jasper might frequent, she made her way back through the old halls. Nearly to her room, she stopped in her tracks as something caught her eye. The light was on in the study.
She tip-toed to the doorway, glancing in to see the room was empty, but the door to the War Room was ajar. Brows knitting together, she crept into the study, making sure the door made little to no noise. Nobody had been in these rooms for the last several months at the very least. Her brother had left on a mission and had yet to return.
As quietly as she could, she closed the distance to the opened door. Her breath caught in her throat when she saw him standing there. Standing in the doorway, she let her soft voice break the silence. “Logan... When did you get back? I was beginning to worry you weren’t going to come home.”

//Alright so....
This blog is now live and active!
I am excited to begin writing these two! I am pretty new to the Fable RP scene, but not at all a stranger to the world of Fable.
Feel free to message me or anything like that. I promise, I don’t bite.
I have several other blogs, but am feeling muse for these two the most, so you can catch me here most of the time.
