Fable & Clover is recruiting for our newest project, Caged Crown - a fairytale mystery VN! 👑

We're hoping to bring a short demo of Caged Crown to Itch.io for #OnceUponaTimeJam & are looking to fill a number of creative and technical roles to help us bring this to life.

Please be aware these are all voluntary positions for the purpose of the jam, but you will be fully reimbursed for your contribution if we're able to launch a successful Kickstarter for the full project 😊

In this game, not everything is as it seems...

Memory: UNLOCKED is a short otome visual novel with one key choice and a tragic mystery at its heart.

It's free to play and was made as part of Velox Fabula 2023, a ranked jam about crafting a complete visual novel in 10 days, based on a community-determined theme.

Moreover, once voting for the jam has concluded, we intend to bring an updated version to Itch.io, with full voice acting, more art, more music and a whole lotta polish~ 😊

If you're new to our little visual novel, Lemonade, now is the perfect time to meet the protagonists of its story - the shy, little wallflower, Ellie, and her vivacious (and only) friend, Mei.

Combined, this sweet twosome are ✨ Mellie ✨ (in our heads, anyway).

Irene is a young woman who is sent far away from her London home to attend Lady Lilianne’s Academy in the countryside. This school is lovely and has everything a young woman about to enter society could ask for: a strong emphasis on etiquette, her every need attended to by maids, gardens for fresh air and peaceful walks, other beautiful young women to be her bosom buddy as they brave the unknown together…

But a day after Irene’s arrival, a student is found dead, with a terrible wound on her throat, and covered in blood. The headmistress insists it must have been animal. But that makes no sense… How could an animal get into the school undetected, and get into a locked dormitory room? 

But nobody will listen, and Irene and her new friends are terrified for who might be next. Because someone will be.

With nobody believing them, with locks being useless, and the school miles away from civilization and help, the young ladies of Lady Lilianne’s are on their own.

Four romance routes, multiple endings. Can you destroy the original vampire and save everyone? Or will you fall yourself?
