A mutual from my TikTok past has succumbed to her illness and I didn’t know she passed until last night. The last we spoke was in November of last year and it seemed as if she was on the mend. She was very sick, the details I will not go into.

I am crushed. I know I cannot answer DMs all the time and it upsets me I never had a chance to say goodbye. Her spirit is at peace. I know that much, and I was always afraid of making online friends for this reason. She was a confident, kind, and clever lady and so very resilient. She was beautiful outside and in, and now she is amongst the stars, which she has always loved.

Some day I want to take my husband all over Europe and go to the beach early in the morning. We did this on our honeymoon in Northern California. We were in solvang, it was all quiet and we had our breakfast at the pool way before anyone could get to it. It was cold out but the water was pleasantly warm. We got into the hot tub and it was just such a relaxing experience. We can’t do that often here at our apartment because of his work schedule and all the annoying unsupervised kids here. But one day, one day I’ll show him this and we can have that little gift of quiet again.

Today’s outfit is inspired by the beautiful girls I saw in Occidental, CA. I spent a portion of my honeymoon there this summer with my sweet husband and it was incredible. We were met with such kindness, respect, and warmth. We are too used to the usual stereotype of small town mindsets and we’re incredibly shocked by the landscape. I’ll never forget the lovely ladies I met there 💙
