Part slice of life, part swords and sorcery serial, with special guests and Forgotten Realms lore thrown in along the way.

And plenty of bloodweave dads content, as these two clueless dorks try to navigate raising a teenage sorceress far from home.

Astarion (backing away slowly): Oh no reason, Halsin was just bored and horny again and I said I’d check, sooo…

Artist Notes:

So, I saw the GW Valentine’s Event 2022 from @thisweekingundamevents at the very beginning of February and thought it would be fun to do something quick and easy inspired by the event, even though I didn’t sign up.

Naturally, my quick and easy idea morphed into a six. fucking. page. comic that didn’t get finished by the end of Valentine’s Day week. Even if the project hadn’t been six pages, my art process is incredibly inefficient, starting with pencil sketches followed by redrawing in ink, then doing tons of cleanup and adding enhancements on the computer – so things always take a lot longer than they should.

I ended up finishing almost everything except pages 4 and 5 by the time Valentine’s week came and went, so since it was a holiday-centric theme and I’d clearly missed the deadline, I dropped the project and figured maybe I’d pick it up next year if I thought about it again.

Then I went on AO3 and started a desperate binge on 3x4 fics, new and old alike, because I can never get enough of these characters when things in life get rough. That got me back to thinking of this comic, that I actually kind of liked doing it and wouldn’t actually mind seeing finished. So now, even though it’s more than halfway through March, I wanted to post this Valentine’s Day comic for any interested and forgiving Gundam Wing 3x4 fans out there.

Please accept this late, short V-Day comic between Trowa and Quatre and an accidental text message that turned out to be their much-needed push in the right direction.

Also, I finally caved and purchased a drawing tablet (something I’d been thinking about for a while). Maybe now for future projects, once I learn how to use it, I can forgo all the initial steps with pencil, pen, and paper, and work directly on the computer with something other than just my mouse and old decade-old Photoshop… I hate computers (;﹏;)

For the tenth anniversary of the armistice, the gundam pilots are set to reunite at a cabin Preventer has in the woods. But when Quatre and Trowa find themselves alone there together, the other three delayed by work and weather, they have to wonder if that wasn't the plan all along.

It's a little long (10k, yikes, sorry) but your requests of snow, hurt/comfort, and Quatre and Trowa turned out to be exactly what I really wanted to write this year (thanks, @thisweekingundamevents!) so it sort of snowballed (please forgive the awful pun) and wrote itself.

I’ve wanted Zechs and Noin to make passionate love since they first laid eyes each other! I’m only on episode 17, so nothing has happened between them yet. No spoilers, please! They’re both so gorgeous, and I want them to make beautiful babies. <3

I’m on episode 18 of Gundam Wing. Heero finally met Zechs face-to-face, and shook his hand (something he’s never done before). I feel an interesting connection between these two. I know Zechs has a lot of respect and admiration Heero, and I think Heero probably feels the same way. But he’s too stubborn to accept Zech’s kindness. Heero’s so damaged that he’s afraid to let people be nice to him. So here’s Zechs breaking through his walls and giving him a much needed hug. I looked up the Japanese language of flowers to decide what to put in the background. Alstroemerias symbolize friendship and devotion. Azaleas mean “take care of yourself”, which is something Heero really needs to learn how to do. Daffodils symbolize respect, and I think their respect for each other as mobile suit pilots might be the key to helping Heero heal.

I was internet-less for something like a month… so all I had was my phone and ff.net. So I did what any sane person would do and reread this old 60+ chapter fic about Quatre & Dorothy. And made a few sketches. HURRAY!!!

Also, I have a dress similar to that. I usually wear leggings under it, but not Dorothy.

They say it’s what counts. But Wufei would like to know just what Duo was thinking, meeting him at the spaceport with a big bouquet of flowers.

A GW Holiday Gift Exchange fic for @lemontrash. Thank you for your delightful prompts. This was the first 2x5 I’d written in many, many years and this experience, and your character insights, have made me fall in love with these two all over again.

I love it so much!!!!! The color on the horizon and shapes in the foreground are so ghostly, but the feeling is so safe and warm. 

You know what it reminds me of??? The lake Quatre plays with the dogs by when he and Heero get back to Earth and he’s thinking about Trowa, hoping Trowa’s still alive.

This gives me all the “the universe is vast but I’ll always return to you” feelings I’m always searching for with these two. ToT Thank you so so much, friend!!!
