Brea Lawyers for Employment Issues
Brea, Orange County Information:
Brea is a city located in Orange County, California, about 33 miles southeast of Los Angeles.  It has a fascinating history that was
centered around oil production.  In the late 1800’s the area attracted entrepreneurs in search of “black gold” (petroleum). In 1911, with oil production at its core, the villages of Olinda and Randolph merged together to form Brea, whose name was derived from the Spanish word for “oil” or “tar”. At the time, it had a population of 752 and was the eighth official city of Orange County.  Eventually, oil production declined and lemon and orange groves gained importance, making way for agricultural production of citrus fruits. In the 1920s, Brea’s community slogan was “Oil, Oranges, and Opportunity.” With the development of the Orange Freeway and the Brea Mall in the 1970’s, residential development took hold.  Today,
Brea
has over 40,000 residents.  The demographic of the city is made up of 58% White, 23% Hispanic or Latino, 15% Asian, 1% Black and 3% of another race or mixed ethnicity.  Schools in Brea have won several awards; therefore, the city has a high density of families in the area.
Close to attractions
Brea
is located about 10 miles north of Anaheim, where Disneyland is located. It is also only 20-30 miles from popular coastal spots, such as Huntington Beach and Long Beach.  However, you don’t have to leave Brea to enjoy yourself, as the city has some attractions of its own.  For example, Brea is well known for its extensive public art program, which began in 1975. Today, there are over 140 works of art in the collection, and they are located all over the city, as well as in the
City of Brea Art Gallery
.  This inviting display of public art has been an inspiration to other cities in the United States and has served as a model for other public art programs.
Great shopping options
Brea
is also known as an important retail center because of the large Brea Mall and the revamped Downtown core.  Brea Mall opened in 1977 and is approximately 1.3 million square feet in size.  It houses four major department stores, over 175 specialty shops and boutiques, and a food court. The mall is a fabulous place to shop, with a huge variety of stores. If you’d rather not be indoors, only about three blocks from the mall is Brea’s newly refurbished Downtown area.  This is a great shopping alternative, allowing you to enjoy the sunshine as you browse. The area is small and compact, but has convenient parking and all the essentials.  For instance, there are a variety of restaurants and shops, as well as a movie theater with an extensive selection of films. There are also a great wide range of coffee shops and sidewalk cafes, which allow patrons to become part of the street scene and take in the casual, pleasant atmosphere. Brea also has plenty of natural beauty, with Carbon Canyon Park being one of the city’s best attractions. This is a large, well-manicured park containing redwood trees, picnic areas and opportunities for fishing and hiking. The bustle of nearby Los Angeles and the mild climate makes parks such as Carbon Canyon, the perfect secret hideaway. Brea has average high temperature of 88F (33C) and average low of 55F (12C) with an average rainfall of only about 3 inches per year. As you can see, there are many reasons why people may want to consider Brea as a place to live and work. It is currently regarded as a retail hub and is in proximity to Los Angeles and world-renown tourist attractions.

Anaheim Employee Rights Attorney
Useful Anaheim Information:
Anaheim
is the 2nd biggest city in Orange County and the 59th largest in the United States.  The city is located on the Southern California coast, just fifteen miles inland from the Pacific Ocean and South East of Los Angeles.  Due to the town’s location along the south coast, this well-liked destination has a very warm climate with hot summers and warm winters.
History
Originally, Anaheim was founded by German winemakers, as an experiment in communal living.  The inhabitants named their new residence, which means “home by the river”, combining the German word for home “heim” and the word “Ana” from the Santa Ana river that is situated locally.  After the grapes were destroyed by a plant disease in the late 1800’s, the rural community began to grow orange groves and other citrus fruits very successfully, instead. Anaheim then became a booming agricultural community due to the construction of a railroad track which supported the transport of their citrus fruits from the west to the east coast. Early
Anaheim
citizens showed their love of education and music by building a school and an opera house nearby.  The Anaheim museum is open to those who want to study the area’s fascinating history.
Things to do
Nowadays, Anaheim is no longer a rural community and is instead a prestigious business and industrial area, as well as a popular holiday destination, due to the appearance of Disneyland.  Disneyland is one of the most visited destinations in the area, which had its grand opening on July 17, 1955.  Due to the resort’s regard, Anaheim began to be a focus for commerce and tourism and now also boasts a huge convention center.   The Disneyland theme park and resort are open throughout the year, so you can’t go wrong when choosing a time to spend your vacation there. Visitors to Anaheim can watch a baseball game at the home stadium of the
Anaheim Angels
, which was built in 1966.  For hockey fans, you can see the Anaheim Mighty Ducks play at Arrowhead Pond, a sports and entertainment venue that hosts the players, as well as a number of quality annual shows. If you like golf, Anaheim Hills, a public country club, offers a challenging golf course in the natural landscape of the scenic Santa Ana Canyons. Those looking to shop, dine and perhaps watch a movie, should without doubt visit the Block at Orange, located at One City Boulevard West. The Block is an open-air promenade with hundreds of retailers and restaurants, as well as a cinema. The 4th of July Anaheim Hills Festival & Parade includes a dog show, 5K and 10K run or walk, food and games, fireworks and a pancake breakfast.  Anaheim Halloween Parade in late October is also worth a visit and includes rides, gaming booths and live entertainment. There are many businesses in the city, including aerospace giants Boeing and Rockwell International.  Anaheim Hills News and the Anaheim Bulletin are weekly newspapers published in the district and there are two television stations broadcasting locally.  With so many businesses in Anaheim, there are plenty of employment opportunities to be gained.

8 Famous people with law degrees - #2 is surprising
Tumblr media
Above is a list of 8 famous people with law degrees created by Orange County Expert Employment Lawyers http://www.expertemploymentlawyers.com/orange-county/ . Most of them you wouldn't have guessed they have a law degree. None of them are currently practicing as attorneys. Enjoy the list and if you find this interesting please share on social media.
#1 Steve Young – Professional Athlete
Steve was a hall of fame professional NFL player with the San Francisco 49ers. Bored with being a backup quarterback to the legendary Joe Montana Steve decided to complete a law degree in his spare time. “I’d finish the Super Bowl, and literally the next day, I’d be in class a month late. Then I’d have to sprint to catch up. I think the professors kind of relished punishing me for that.”
#2 Rebel Wilson - Actress
Rebel attended the University of Sydney in and graduated in 2009. In an interview to Glamour magazine Rebel said, “People are always surprised that a girl who looks so stupid is a qualified lawyer. I still don’t have a lawyer here in America yet, so I read all my contracts and negotiate my own deals.”
#3 John Cleese - Actor
“If I had not gone into Monty Python, I probably would have stuck to my original plan to graduate and become a chartered accountant, perhaps a barrister lawyer, and gotten a nice house in the suburbs, with a nice wife and kids, and gotten a country club membership, and then I would have killed myself.”
#4 Gerard Butler – Actor
"I wasn't going to be an actor. I was going to be a lawyer ... There was something else at work, something I didn't have control of. If I hadn't [messed] up that job, I wouldn't be sitting here right now. I might be a very mediocre lawyer in some small town in the middle of Scotland."
#5 Armin van Buuren – DJ
“I'm very grateful I went to school to study law, particularly tax law, which really is interesting to me and very useful to me now with my position. Music, however, will always be my number one passion; I like how it connects everyone.”
#6 Nelson Mandela – President of South Africa
While incarcerated, Nelson Mandela was able to earn a Bachelor of Law degree through a University of London correspondence program. “Education is the most powerful weapon which you can use to change the world”.
#7Jerry Springer – Talk Show Host
Jerry Springer is British-American host of "The Jerry Springer Show," a violent, confrontational, infamous television talk show. He was also journalist, lawyer and politician.
#8 Fidel Castro – Political Dictator
Fidel Castro was a young Cuban lawyer when he decided to begin an armed struggle against dictator Fulgencio Batista in 1953. He failed at the time and was nearly killed, but lived to lead a second and successful rebellion. Those who hoped that Castro would become a democratic reformer, however, were disappointed when he instead became the hemisphere's longest-serving dictator. Las Vegas Information:
Las Vegas (which is Spanish for “The Meadows”) is the largest city within the Greater Mojave Desert and based in Clark County, Nevada.  Las Vegas is primarily known for its gambling resorts, spectacular entertainment, wedding chapels, fine dining and shopping.  Founded in just 1905, it is now the most populated city in the state, with over 600,000 residents.  It has an arid climate with sunny, dry, and extremely hot summers. Even though you may have seen Las Vegas in many movies, you will be in awe when you first see the city.  The skyline seems unreal, with an assortment of buildings from across the world, such as the Eiffel Tower, The Statue of Liberty and an Egyptian pyramid.  It is a sensory overload from a distance and up close, especially when you visit the center of the city.  “The Strip” is a four mile road along Las Vegas Boulevard, which is packed full of mega hotel resorts, such as Caesars Palace, the MGM Grand and Mandalay Bay.  Many complexes are so large and self-sufficient; they seem like small towns in their own right.  As well as hotels, there is every type of restaurant, dazzling attractions and neon billboards inviting you to see the latest entertaining shows.  The Bellagio Fountains provide a spectacular display and draw large crowds of spectators.  Let’s also not forget the casinos, where time is irrelevant and you can get flowing drinks and buffets at any time of the night or day.  For a more laid back and less expensive experience, head down to Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas. Many couples venture to Las Vegas for a quick, hassle free and inexpensive wedding.  There are hundreds of wedding chapels to choose from, with every theme imaginable, including a drive-through!  As Las Vegas is a party city it is the perfect place to have your bachelor or bachelorette party, because whenever you go, you are guaranteed a fun time. If you want to leave the hustle and bustle of the city for a while, why not take a trip out to The Grand Canyon, which is one of the Seven Wonders of the World.  There are many helicopter tours in the area that give magnificent and unforgettable views.  The Grand Canyon is ten miles wide, one mile deep and two hundred and seventy miles long and is a spectacular formation of geology. Another nearby popular destination is the Hoover Dam, which was the greatest dam constructed in its day.  The dam is located on the Colorado River, on the border between Nevada and Arizona.  Hoover Dam was the most costly engineering development in United States history, at the time of its construction between 1931 and 1935, costing 49 million dollars. With so many businesses in Las Vegas, it is easy to see why people venture there to gain employment.  Whether you want to try your hand as a croupier, work in retail, as a beautician, or even start up your own company, Vegas offers a unique and exciting experience. San Francisco is one of California’s major cities and is located at the entrance of a large natural harbor, surrounded by the Pacific Ocean.  It is renowned for being a very hilly city and is often surrounded by fog. There are many attractions in San Francisco, including the famous Golden Gate Bridge, which spans the Golden Gate Strait and links San Francisco to Oakland Bay.  Even though it is named the Golden Gate Bridge, it is actually an orange color.  The bridge was opened to the public on May 17th 1937 and is 2,737 meters long, which makes it is the second longest suspension bridge in the world. When exploring San Francisco, why not hop on one of cable cars, which are a common site.  The first cable car went into service in 1873, in order to deal with the city’s very steep hills.   Another well-known tourist attraction is Alcatraz Island, located 1.25 miles off the shore.  Some of America’s most notorious criminals such as Al “Scarface” Capone were held at the prison on the island, which closed in 1963.  Now visitors can get a guided tour of the prison, plus view the other lesser known features of Alcatraz, which include marine wildlife, rare plants and flowers. A formation of colorful Victorian houses, known as “Postcard Row”, is located in Alamo Square, which is one of the most picturesque places to take a photo.  Lombard Street, another popular destination, has been nicknamed “the crookedest street in the world”, due to its steep slopes and eight sharp bends.  Other beauty spots are situated on the west side of the city, where Lincoln Park offers incredible views of the Pacific Ocean.  If you prefer to go walking, take a trip to Mount Davidson, which is the highest point in San Francisco and provides beautiful forest trails in the midst of an urban environment. San Francisco Chinatown is one of the oldest and biggest China towns in America that covers a square mile at the city center.  There is an assorted mix of temples, houses, restaurants, shops and markets, as well as some inspiring historical sites, which makes it one of the most visited tourist attractions.  Chinese New Year in late February also draws in spectators who either come to see it live, or view it via a television broadcast.. The Trans-America pyramid in the financial district is one of the area’s most unique buildings and it can be seen from miles outside of the area.  At 853 feet tall, it is currently the tallest building and boasts 48 floors.  Many prestigious companies are based in the San Francisco bay area, including Gap Inc., Oracle Corporation and Stanford University.
