The Minneapolis police are back to publicly being terrorists now that George Floyd’s death is out of the media cycle.
Directly from the article:
Bayle Adod Gelle was deep in sleep late Wednesday night at his home in Eden Prairie when he heard loud banging on the door.
The intensity of the sound at 2:15 a.m. left Bayle confused. He trudged down the stairs from his second-floor bedroom. As soon as he reached the living room, he found his wife there—surrounded by more than a dozen officers from the Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office. The officers allegedly pointed their guns at him and his wife, Bayle said, and then tied their hands tightly with a cord.
Awakened by the bangs and commotion, three children—ages 4, 7, and 9— joined their parents in the living room. Officers allegedly pointed guns at them, too, Bayle said.
“I felt very scared,” Bayle said in an interview with Sahan Journal at his home Thursday evening, some 14 hours after the police raid. “I thought they were going to kill us.”
The police search felt like it took forever—maybe two hours, he said. Bayle kept asking the officers who they were and why they’d come to his house. (In the end, the police appear to have found nothing, and took no evidence with them, Bayle said.)
They told him “shut up,” he recalled.
Bayle said the officers ransacked the house and never showed him a search warrant— until the end. That’s when they told him his son had been killed.
Bayle said that until that moment, he had no idea that nearly 8 hours earlier Minneapolis Police officers had fatally shot his 23-year-old son, Dolal Bayle Idd, in an altercation at a Holiday gas station in south Minneapolis. It was the first police killing in Minneapolis since Officer Derek Chauvin killed George Floyd about a dozen blocks away.
Here’s the full article
they had to move out of their house on new year’s eve to a nearby mosque.
please share, I haven’t seen anyone talking about this

what’s your opinion on the pansexual label?
I have very conflicted feelings on it. On the one hand, it's just a label, right? And it seems as though more and more people are coming to understand that bisexual doesn't mean "men and women." On the other hand it is a DIRECT CAUSE of that confusion and just feels like a sort of... Moral high ground thing. People who say "hearts not parts" make me ill (not only is it just high horse as hell, it's also homophobic.) Basically, just kind of grin and bear it, let people know the truth about bisexuality when I get the chance.

also you are 100% right abt the aphobia in exclus spaces. i’ve only recently been a part of these spaces and it is so obvious. of course, saying cis het-aligned aces and aros are not LGBTQ is NOT aphobia, but a lot of the times arguments supporting this stance do have a lot of aphobia. belittling struggles of cishet aces/aros etc is very prevalent. if we (exclusionists) were just like. kinder and focused solely on the fact that we don’t want cishet aces/aros in the community and nothing else, it would be so much better for everyone in my opinion. and the LGBTQ community and the ace community could actually be such good allied communities tbh
While I disagree with you that aces aren't lgbt, literally everything else here I completely align with. I'm really glad there's someone in the community who sees an acknowledges the aphobia, and I trust you stand up against it in your own way.

i currently believe cis het-aligned aces and aros are not LGBTQ but I’m lowkey glad you changed your opinion on this. it’s good to get some perspective from someone who earlier was an exclus. I’m sorry for the hate you’re receiving. more power to you.
Honestly all I'm asking for is a listening ear. I really appreciate your civility on this, and I'm glad I can be a perspective youre interested in hearing.

lmao people going into your inbox calling asexuals a danger to gay people. exclus discourse is so dumb theres so much evidence out there that being asexual does actually affect someones life but they all ignore it cause they wanna act like tumblr mean girls by bullying asexuals
There's a simple word for it I just refused to acknowledge for a while and it's just aphobia man

This person only came up with this comparison after I pointed out how comparing ace people to pedophiles and children makes them look a bit, I don't know, aphobic. It's disgusting
Fine, how bout this one. You can accept a dog into a cat's shelter but it makes it dangerous for the cats, and the dogs do not belong there. There are dog shelters specifically for them. All-animal shelters will also accept dogs. So why on Earth are you going from 'no dogs in cat's shelters' to 'I think dogs belong in cat shelters. Fuck them cats, at the least the dogs are safe.'
1. Again, I want you to think about why these are the only comparisons you can think of
2. Since you couldn't seem to understand the first time, I'll explain why it's a stupid comparison.
Ace people are not going to literally kill or attack sga or trans people in lgbt spaces. There are still going to be "cats only" shelters. Although it's hard to even use this comparison with how little it correlates. There are going to continue to be places for only sga people, only trans people, only nonbinary people, only lesbians- the only difference is that the general thought of what is "lgbt" is changing. If having cis people in your space makes you uncomfortable? Completely valid! Seek out trans spaces! If having straight people in your group makes you feel in danger? Understandable, it's hard to grow up feeling like there's no place full of people like you! Seek out places for SGA people only! Groups like this exist for trans mlm, lesbians, nonbinary people who seek out other nonbinary people, and so many more subcategories. If you go to a regular GSA and are uncomfortable with the presence of straight people? You might still run into a straight trans person! It just so happens that with the way things are moving, you might run into a straight ace person too. I myself still have difficulty with it. I won't pretend to be the "aphobe-to-inclus" wonder transformation people look for, but I'm moving forward, and I am facing the, let's call it what it is, aphobia that being in exclus spaces fostered in me. And I know that word scares y'all. "not wanting cishets in our spaces doesn't make us aphobic!" Yeah! You're right! But that feeling of doubt you feel when you read about the struggles of ace people? That is! And acknowledge it!
I hope you do. At least some day.

Imagine asking "if a straight girl acknowledged that women were attractive objectively would she be lgbt?!" Unironically because That Does Not Define What A Lesbian Is I just don't know how to tell you it's not the same thing
Cis straight people belong in LGBT spaces if they’re ace. Do you hear how insane you sound? Are kids LGBT til they hit puberty then? Old people with no libidos? Virgins are LGBT they get laid? Incels? How much sexual attraction does a cis straight perosn have to feel to stop being queer?
I love the way Absolutely Zero of those comparisons define ace people like YES king give us absolutely nothing 💖

#exclusionists really love making comparisons where there is nothing to compare#being asexual means being asexual. literally none of those other things define asexuality#The difference is THE MOST IMPORTANT THING THAT YOU JUST HAPPEN TO BE IGNORING

Lesbians are raped for being attracted to women, not for not wanting sex. Lesbophobia is misogyny made exponentially worse by homophobia. Aces do not experience that, they just experience misogyny.
Your logic is a ss experiencing misogyny makes them queer. That makes no sense.
The... Entire idea of conversion therapy is to make someone attracted to men. When conversive r*pe happens it's in an attempt to "fix" someone for not being attracted to/not wanting sex with men. Anon sincerely what are you on

Can you tell me something unrelated to calling me names and saying "brainrot"? Or is saying "inclus" in a mr. burns-esque tone the extent to which you think critically?

Did you make a comprehensive post about why you're leaving acecourse? Or rather, what post started all of these asks? If your opinions changed, I'm curious to see what changed them, new information, even from a dissenting opinion is very important to me and I want to be informed. I'm curious to see if what changed your mind might also change mine.
I wouldn't say it's comprehensive, but I have a number of lengthy posts explaining why my views have changed in the last few days. They're pretty easy to find and don't go back far
