Still new to how Tumblr sorts its search results, but apparently some external links will cause tags not to work - So I’m reposting so this can show up in search and tagged.  The original post is on my blog with a link to the videographer.

“Okay, I’m still working through my backlog of cosplay stuff to post here…but Noel Blain Videography created this really badass footage of my Vetra cosplay at Fan Expo Vancouver for his compilation video and I couldn’t not share it.  Since it’s featured here, to make the gun I followed a fantastic tutorial from AndrewDFT on Youtube (I highly recommend checking out their videos).  Everything else on the costume was designed and created by me over about 6 months.  Surprisingly, the whole thing is quite comfortable except the heels, which add about 5 inches to my height. “

#8 + Shakarian?

8. Laying a gentle kiss to the back of the other’s hand.

The airlock doors clicked open, and a very tired Commander Shepard boarded her ship after an exceptionally long and difficult day.

Much to her surprise, her turian love was standing right in front of the entrance to the airlock. Her heart skipped a beat as soon as their eyes met. He had his arms crossed, leaning up against the hard metal of the ship’s walls.

Garrus didn’t say anything at first, taking a moment looked her over. Her bloodshot eyes and distant expression did not go unnoticed.

“Long day?” He said, his voice soft and kind.

“Unbelievably.” Shepard replied with a sigh.

Garrus approached her, taking one of her hands in his. He kissed the top of it gently, maintaining eye contact with her the entire time. He watched her face light up and a smile spread across her face. The corner of her eyes wrinkled from joy rather than from stress for the first time that day. Already she looked like a completely different person than who had just walked in a few moments ago.

“You left the main battery just to meet me at the door? How romantic.” She teased, wrapping her arms around his neck.

“It takes an awful lot to get me away from those calibrations, you know.” Garrus teased back, taking her by the waist (he couldn’t help but admire how supportive it is) and holding her closer.

They pressed their foreheads together softly and Shepard kissed the top of nose as they pulled away.

“Get a room, you two!” Joker yelled out from the cockpit.

Shepard let out a big laugh, releasing a lot of her pent up stress from the day.

“A room doesn’t sound so bad, actually.” Shepard said, grabbing Garrus’ hand and linking her fingers between his. “A room, and a hot shower…what do you say?”

Garrus looked over at her, and his heart swelled. As exhausted as she was, as long as her days always were, she still made every effort to make him feel special, loved, and wanted at all times.

“I say…absolutely.”

How is there not an outside balcony on Anderson’s Apartment?! Shepard wants to high-five people in passing hovercars while Garrus has a heart attack from potential security issues.
