honestly the thing about t4t and skill trades and queer hobbies and fucking love and community is i don’t have to do everything! my whole life I’ve wanted to get into every hobby you can possibly imagine! but i don’t have to! i’m learning to sew clothes. one of my boys is a potter and the other is learning boot blacking and has experience with metal smithing. lots of my friends crochet. i have some leatherwork from Hank and im commissioning more. i used to have a neighbor who didnt mind bugs and i didnt mind mice so we traded who took care of which pests in our building! ill change your brake pads if you’ll help me move! i dont have to learn everything and i dont have to know everything and i dont have to do it all myself! i just get to love my friends and share my skills as freely as i can and we all do all of this together! arf arf arf arf arf !
