I made a krusielle playlist.

Maybe somewhat to be expected since I literally run a krusielle blog, but it’s over 70 songs (and counting since I never rly consider my playlists “finished”)! One of the longest fandom playlists I’ve ever made. I mmmmmight make a post breaking down why I chose some of the specific songs but since it’s so long it would prolly basically b a whole essay 😅😅 but! If that’s smth y’all would actually b interested to read lmk.

Uhhhhhh some inspirations !! Certified Kriselle Royalty @goomyloid has a BALLER kriselle playlist (Spotify link and YouTube link) n I definitely snatched some songs from there. There’s also this qpr krusie playlist I’m obsessed with (idk if the creator has a tumblr, if they do lmk!). And last but not least, @ralseiupyourbat sent me a rly sweet bday message w/ songs they associate with krusielle and I added quite of few of them to my playlist bc BANGER ALERT!!!! Oops All Bangers!

Those r just a few of the major ones, but there’s plenty of other ppl that inspired specific songs on here and shout out to ALL THEM!!!!! Deltarune yuri nation is truly a blessed place 💕

i really like. the current theme of hurting others on accident. it’s a cool progression from undertale’s “just choose to be kind!” + characters first introduced as villains later having their positive traits revealed. ralsei sweet little cinnamon roll ralsei accidentally discouraged susie from practicing her healing. even though susie was introduced as a bully she’s reached a point of being a deeply enjoyable and relatable character for most of the fanbase, and she still swapped the controllers back, taking away a fraction of ralsei’s agency. and neither of them are bad people for it. neither of them even communicated that the other hurt them. it’s a theme that hits really hard for me and i’m glad the game’s leaning into it as much as it is. even the ut cameos are having negative traits revealed through their more mundane roles in this narrative (just look at the fandom response to toriel rn). the darkners all feel some level of abandonment from lightners who didn’t even realize they had feelings.

i think all this should be applied to the kris+soul dynamic because no matter what we choose kris will be unhappy that we are controlling them. we’ve already seen examples of the nicest dialogue options being ones kris doesn’t agree with and will change to seem more “kris”-like. it makes me hope even more that at some point in this game we’ll come to some sort of understanding or even friendship with kris. i don’t think we’re evil for playing this game.

this is a comic i made based on chapter 4, where ralsei is noticeably protective over the ability to heal against susie. what really pushed me to make the comic was learning that DUALHEAL in the final boss battle of chapter 4 gets worse every time you cast it, and at first i couldn't understand why ralsei was being a bit mean towards susie. when i learned about the thing with DUALHEAL, it clicked.

So heres my take on krusie / kriselle

I DONT THINK KRIS WOULD GET OUTWARDLY JEALOUS OF NOELLE WANTING SUSIE ok cool i said it now heres my reasoning:

I think kris' first instince upon learning this piece of information is to fuck with noelle. Its the thing they've always done, a habit they have since childhood, and teasing noelle on her crush would be astronomically funny. They can probably think of 5 ways to mess with her immediately and rank them from funniest to funniestest.

But then theyre reminded of the incident with dess and how devastated noelle was. All they ever do is fuck with noelle, and last time it hurt her bad, really really bad. Guilt overtakes their every waking thought, they drop their plans for silly pranks and comply with noelles request. This is their chance to do right by her, the least they can do after everything. Susie is a nice girl, she will be able to comfort and protect noelle where they have failed. And if they at least become friends, susie wont be all alone again once they inevitably have to betray her. She deserves to have someone who doesnt hide so many secrets.

They watch susie and noelle get closer and their heart hurts knowing they wont and cant be a part of it. So they get out of their hair, get some chocolate milk and play the piano for a peace of mind. Hangout somewhere else alone.

They may or may not have feelings for noelle, but the guilt weighs so heavy they cannot even bear to think of her, let alone entertain any affection they have for her.

They may or may not have a crush on susie, but it doesnt matter because she'd hate them. She got so pissed at tenna and ralsei, whatever their deal is, its probably worse than those two.

I dont think susie would hate them, btw. She'd tell them that theyre stupid for trying to fix it all alone, that theyre stupid for thinking they can just play matchmaker and take themself out of the equation. She doesnt like being kept in the dark but more importantly she'd think noelle doesnt *deserve* to be kept in the dark.

She'd think, am i not good enough a friend for you to rely on me? Please, let me in, let help you. Susie has never cared much about rules or other people's grand plans. She'll stand by her friends and she'll bend hell over with them if thats what it takes.

I also think noelle, when finding out about all of this, would never want kris to make themself hurt so much just to make her happy. Ever since kris distanced themself shes convinced herself that theyre nothing special, nothing more than neighbors, friends of convenience. But oh does she miss them, their music and their stupid un-funny pranks. Her desktop wallpaper, the pencils, even going as far as to prepare for visits that would never happen.

She thought she did something wrong when kris stopped talking to her, not knowing just how much guilt theyre carrying in their chest all this time.

i love love love the painkiller comic because i did that for my roommate once. his gf walked in and (in a silly lighthearted way) went "why is your hand on my boyfriend's uterus!!!!!!!" and i think it'd be funny if noelle came in and said something like that (but obvs like, "partner" instead, or whatever label :3)

Sometimes I wonder if the reason Spamton is bitter towards Tenna (while being the one that actually up and left) is because he tried calling him over and over again after he’d left in a hurry, seemingly to warn him about whatever had transpired during that one call that made him go pale, but Tenna never answered. Exhibit A and B:
