Okay so about that text post about "what if 99% were asexual" I thought it was a great post and ypu don't deserve all the bullshit people are giving you for it. You're just trying to put it in perspective for the majority what it's like.

Thanks for sticking up for me but I realize now how ignorant that post was and hope you can all forgive me. I am much more socially aware now than I was back when I wrote it. I didn’t mean for it to be homophobic or insulting to anyone. It was just midnight speculation and I simply didn’t consider the other side of it (which in retrospect seems like a pretty obvious side to consider). I don’t have an excuse other than I just didn’t think. Sorry everyone.

I’m also not ace (well I’m gray-ace but generally identify as aromantic pansexual). So I’m so sorry ace tumblr for giving you a bad name.

The only bit of defense I have is that I’d just learned what asexuality and aromanticism were at that point so I was feeling elated and somewhat angry that I’d been feeling wrong and broken all my life. I was just getting into the community and beginning to accept myself. That bit of anger went into imagining a world where I never had to feel that way at all.

Hey, I know an INTP guy with an INTJ twin. They don't exactly get along well. Would this have anything to do with the way their functions interact? Or merely that they have two personalities that don't work well in close proximity to each other? Thanks! - Curious INTP

Funny. I also know an INTP/INTJ sibling pair who don’t get along. 

It makes sense when you think about it. They’ll both struggle with social interaction in the early years and tend to like having their own space. You can see how they’ll get to know all the worst things about each other. 

There might also be friction with parental attention and gifts. If the INTP gets a lego set and goes off to build something weird that only makes sense in their head instead of something sensible, the INTJ might think their sibling isn’t playing with the toy right and is therefore wasting it (plus they wanted that lego set and INTP won’t share). That and they probably like a lot of the same things so it’ll be hard to get one of them a present without the other getting jealous. There’s a lot of kindling for an unhealthy rivalry.

Worst case scenario, the INTP will grow up thinking the INTJ is controlling and possibly selfish while the INTJ will think their sibling is hopelessly stupid.

People think I’m smart because my attitude towards intellectual challenges is either “that’s interesting and I’ll try, oh look I solved it” or “nah that’s boring, not even gonna try”.

I don’t think I’m actually better at solving problems than the average person, it’s just what I like to do. I only succeed because I don’t give up until I’m bored.
