Jeff wasn’t going to get back into a corner that easy. He was a lawyer. Given he cheated to become a lawyer but he was still a lawyer.  “They’ve got a pretty good french roast. I sometimes drop in to see what hipster things they are doing with coffee. “ He said pointing at what he knew would be some colorful chalkboard with art and what they had new that days.  “That good enough for you Annie?” Jeff asked feeling satisfied with what he said before taking a drink of his coffee.  

What Jeff had told her did made sense and she did made a note in her head to ask for they french toast to give that a try, she did felt bad for judging Jeff to quick, sure he did had a record of doing things like leave everything to the last minute but she did trusted him and she had to give him a chance to show he had become more responsible. “So how’s your part of the project going along? I finished my part so if you need any help just let me know, okay?” She told him before turning to the chalk now distracted by it.

Tori jumped when she felt someone approach her from behind but quickly calm down when she noticed that it was Cat, she laughed knowing the girl was probably on her tip toes before turning and wraping her arounds around Cat. “It’s was fine, they sang happy birthday to me which was pretty cute. Hungry?”

Jeff thanked himself that he managed to move his coffee just in time to not spill it on his shirt. Then he sighed when he realized it was Annie he ran into. Anyone who would give him a hard time about staying out when a paper was due it was her.  “Heyy” He said his voice slightly tense and tired. He moved the coffee back into his space and took a small drink. He willed the caffeine to work faster in his system,  “Why aren’t you getting coffee from that one little place?” He said hoping to direct everything off him. 

annie quickly crossed her arms while staring at Jeff, she couldn’t help but wonder what he was doing in there.... other than coffee, she had a suspiscous that he was avoiding everyone and that could only mean he didn’t do his part of the project. “I would, but they are close so I had no other choice, what’s your excuse?” she asked with her best judgmental look.

Jeff had stayed out later last night then he planned too. He basically left most of his part of the group project up to fate. Now he was currently getting coffee off campus to avoid seeing the study group till he needed too. Jeff knew almost everyone would do the work they needed too it was basic math.  So what if he stayed out just this once and only did a halfway decent job.  Jeff squinted through his sunglasses grabbing his coffee off the counter before turning and bumping into someone. 

Annie couldn't sleep, then again her neighbors were always so loud so that didn't help her either so that was why she felt like she needed all the coffee in the world, but her favorite place was close so that left her to find another place, soon enough she found a quiet coffee shop so she ran inside not paying attention until she bumped into someone. "Hey!" She yelp jumping back ready to give the person a piece of her mind but felt silent. "Jeff?"
