Okay, I am sick of seeing this post. NEWSFLASH: It’s relatively common practice for movies to cast actors that aren’t technically the same ethnicity as the character they’re playing. How many movies have you seen in which the actors who played certain characters were from a completely different country? No one is saying all Asian people look the same! Get the fuck over yourselves.
Dear people at Disney and people voting on the Just Jared poll,
Arden Cho is Korean.
Jamie Chung is Korean.
Ashley Argota is Filipino.
Jenna Ushkowitz is Korean.

Please do me a favor and reblog or like this post if you are a cis person who feels 100% okay about sharing restrooms, changing rooms, and other public spaces with folks who are trans.
(Sometimes I don’t know how to help the folks in my life who are trans and have to put up with bigoted shit like this all the time, but I thought seeing lots of notes on this post might help at least a tiny bit.)

Do you ever just question someone when they say they want to hang out with you? I always think, "Are your other friends sick?", "Did They get hit by a bus?", "Broken leg?"
Then I go through all these questions, realizing that the answer to them all is 'no'. From there I jump to 'They must be up to something' and "What do you want from me?!"
I am not the most socially adept person, obviously.

What Would You Do? television show, showcases the contrast in responses to young white male criminals vs black criminals. Not only did people call the cops 10 times more to report the black vandals, but even sleeping black teenage boys were perceived to be more inherently threatening than the white teenagers who were actively vandalizing a car nearby. [Part One] [Part Two.]
