Edgar Bones and Augustus Pye?

i have seen so many different headcanons to what Edgar’s interests were from Slam Poetry to Quidditch Seeker to Care of magical creatures.

Augustus Pye is a healer.

so let’s imagine this, hogwarts year (redacted) Augustus Pye has successfully weaseled his way into an internships with Madam Pomfrey.

And no matter what Edgar is into, he is probably getting injured. And Augustus, ever the knowledge hungry is always in the infirmary so they meet- a lot.

So whether it is a quidditch seeker falling for his adorable nerdy healer bf, obsessively safe augustus following nerdy animal obsessed edgar because he can’t be left alone for five seconds without be injured… or all of the above.

I honestly don’t see anything on Edgar only posts about the Amethysts/Amelia/Emmeline so this could be way off the damon’s characterization of him.

BUT i did see this SPECTACULAR tumblr fic(?) where Edgar was a seeker and got injured and it was like. career ending. and i love the idea of that too <3

Drama Club Marauders

Marauders fic but they are all high school drama students and the club is going to be shut down if they don't put on the best play ever.

James and Sirius were the first to join Peter close behind he always wanted to join.. Remus joined soon as well but as a stagehand a writer, he wasn't much for the activity, quick outfit changes.

Regulus got dragged into it because he “owed” his brother. And Of course he forced his friends to join as well. Pandora thought it was a lovely idea, Dorcas couldnt say no to her puppy eyes- no one could. So they all ended up there.

(I was never in drama I always wanted to but I was to shy so I could never write this (a total Peter))

not to mention they could do any musical, movie…. guys. there’s so many opportunities.

"Reg?" James called quietly, tiptoeing through the library to his boyfriend's usual table.

But he wasn't met with gray eyes or a haughty expression. Instead, he was met with mountains of books.

"Regulus?"

"What?" a voice snapped, and for some reason, he smiled.

"It's nearly curfew, baby. I brought you a snack," he whispered, holding out his offering of a roll in a napkin he'd stolen from dinner.

One of the stacks of books moved and Regulus peeked out, dark circles under his eyes. "You...you brought that for me?"

Sadness hit James's heart. As if he wasn't constantly thinking about Regulus. "Yeah, love. You want it?"

Regulus nodded mutely, taking the crumpled napkin. "M'so tired. Fucking OWLs..."

Without thinking, James walked behind him, placing his hands on his shoulders and lightly massaging away the knots. "I'm so proud of you, baby." He murmured.

Regulus looked up at him with an exhausted smile. "I....thanks. Nobody's ever told me that before."

everyone comes to Peter, but where does Peter go?

and that is how he got in league with Voldemort, falling into the hands of One Barty Crouch Jr and one Evan Rosier.

how could he resist two people who finally pay attention to him, who finally listen to what he has to say? he couldn’t.

(p.s i don’t support the notion of unloved / outsider peter as a marauder i just would love this)

reasons i can’t focus on my jegulus fics:

frabastan exists

frank x rabastan breaths

frank is probably cottagecore met light academia

rabastan is such a chaotic academia

rabastan probbaly self sabotages

rabastan being under imperious when they tortured the longbottoms

^ frank died thinking it was him

frank probably picks flowers and presses them in rabastans books as a sign of affection

rabastan loves it, it makes him feel loves and cared for in a way that’s so subtle.

and there are only two fics on ao3 that focus on them; they are both angst no comfort. (i have read them both)

i feel like regulus ending up accidentally(or purposefully) going back in time is such an underrated idea.

“drop the fic” i just thought of this, lmk if it exists.

anyways,

so like it could work so well following a canon timeline:

waking up asking for air at hogwarts / grimmauld place bc he just drowned. panicking and checking his body for the wounds form the hands ripping him open but then not being there then probably like spiraling on the floor while calming down. either immediately freaking out thinking he has been kidnapped or idk man

and imagine it following a more fanon time like where he got close to his brother again and befriended the marauders maybe. maybe he got out of that shitty ass fucking mindset / set of views his family pushed on him and found a way to sway evan and barty as well (this would be so cute like him trying so hard to help his friends in this timeline especially if he couldn’t in whatever one he is from)

like going to hogwarts and socializing with the marauders and everyone being super fucking confused on why he is much more… human than he was like a week ago.

and it following a canon time like or someone making up their own time line could jsut be fantastic. like either way.

(also it would make a cute sunseeker for my jegulus enthusiasts.)
