9.11.2001 Never Forget

I remember standing outside at lunch on an absolutely beautiful late summer day - bright blue sky, few clouds, mid-70s, the sun was hot- and feeling numb and not having any clue about what was really happening in the country. My job at that time was located off a major highway, but also near farmlands, and the only sound you heard was a far off piece of farm equipment. I think major interstates were closed or being restricted with travel by that time. It was surreal, trying to make sense of the horrific images on such a beautiful day. I think that is why this became my "Where you were when Kennedy was shot?" moment.

The Palm Springs trip makes sense. 6 months ago Sam said he would be back in California in September. PV is doing his release party in September when the actual gym is not opening for 3 more months. Sam knew he could schedule as there was to be a break in filming because of Caitriona's schedule. His support for PV has went beyond friendship and PV has some connections in Austin and a genre SH has said he wants to get work.

Putting aside all of the above: if there’s ever a short filming break he’s outta Scotland

She’s going to be in a huge group he’ll need to book out all of Gleneagles , think by now he’s following every female athlete in the 24 Olympics . Maybe that’s what his IG clear out was about , to make room .

Any idea how the MPC membership is going? Is it up, down or unchanged since last year or by comparison to when it started.

Anon, wish I could answer your question, but (whispers) I didn’t renew my membership in 2024. Plus, I wasn’t a member from the start so I have nothing to compare. I know you’re not the first to ask this question.

This is like the llama - less an issue of who she was than what she was. My thoughts on the DMs - not so much what was said but why she engaged with the fans at all.

That poor young lady is probably trying to break into acting and SH, being the nice guy he is, is just trying to help. I am sure those photos were of them rehearsing a scene prior to her screen test. Which one, I’m not sure, but the possibilities are endless:

Whether the kiss was romantic or platonic etc etc the bottom line is that Caitriona shows more public affection for her friends gay and straight than she has ever shown towards her husband and vice versa. They are just odd period and I think that is what we are all too polite to say or afraid of her rabid fans. Well I am going to say it. They are awkward. Her choice. We need to get over it.

I think people see what they want to see. We all see posts from people here trashing T and incredulous over C’s choice so maybe when some see pictures of them, that’s what they see. There are actual photos out there of CT smiling and happy together. I’ve seen lots of them. The difference is that most of the pics people complain about are work events for her. It’s one moment in time. No camera is following around CT giving us lots of pics to choose smiles from. There’s one or two pics while walking or standing. No context. On their way somewhere.

When she’s with S, it’s most often a work event where they are filmed by multiple paps and interviewed and promoting their show and joking around. So there’s lots of fun and smiles and touching for the camera. They know they’re being photographed or could be at any time and their job is to promote the JC relationship. We don’t ever see that fun side of her with T because he’s not a celebrity. That’s my opinion.

I’m 💯 sure that C knows what people say about T and their son. Knowing that, why would she willingly post either of them? Maybe when they’re out together, she’s thinking how people will react asking where S is, or worse. 🤷‍♀️

The public affection she shows is nice. She’s a hugger. She’s perhaps sentimental right now as things wrap up. I’m sure they all feel like a family. I enjoyed seeing them all have fun at the concert.

For me the bottom line is that she’s experienced too much negativity over her marriage and the paternity of her child and that affects what she lets us see wrt her family.

He's the gift that keeps on giving this week, from the llama to the pop music sweetheart. I can't wait until the different fan groups converge all at once. It will be like a wresting cage match.
