I am an Indian and I hate cricket
I am sure the title already fetched me few angry readers and a lot of haters. Yes, I am an Indian and I hate cricket. I hate this game as I feel it’s just an overrated game with billions of mad, hypocrites self proclaimed fans. I call them hypocrite because had you been a genuine lover of the game, you would never burn an Indian flag or the cricketers photo or call them names when the team lost and come up with ‘I bleed blue’ slogans when they win. With the end of the world cup 2015 all over the world, I am glad the cricket madness has finally come to an end in India. No more wasting crores of money on betting, no more huge LED screens , no more huge crowds in front of every TV set on the road, no more billions of people giving up their job to see eleven people doing their job and no more overflow of emotion. It is funny how a country like ours which is divided into clusters on various reasons like caste, creed, color, sex, region and religion unites on one single self proclaimed ‘religion’, cricket. People in India are okay with hearing to ‘I hate democracy’, ‘I hate political parties’, ‘I hate Bhagat Singh’, ‘I hate God’, ‘I hate Mahatma Gandhi, and worst of all ‘I hate India’ but it’s considered to be a hideous crime when someone says ‘I hate cricket’. Thanks to Section 66A, I won’t be sued for writing this. It was foolish to see many people mock Ram Gopal Verma after his recent tweet about he hating cricket and people who follow it. India is a democratic country and people are free to express themselves. No one points at someone who says ‘I love cricket’ then why so much havoc over someone hating cricket? Oh by the way, does anyone remember that hockey is the national game of India and we do have a women cricket team as well. Finally, congratulations to the Australian team; heard the team played really well and to all the Indian cricket players who made a good fortune and media for your striking high TRP’S and readership. Coming to the billion Indians who are pretty disappointed, , now that WE GAVE IT BACK, get back to your ordinary life and work because watching cricket has not made you any richer or even happier this time.

Vogue Empower ? LOL
My whole newsfeed is filled with Vogue's empower women video starring Deepika. But irony here is both the industries, fashion and Bollywood which completely revolves around nothing but women objectification is speaking about women empowerment. How about Deepika not sign any movies where in heroins are shown just as an entertainment and not dance to item songs like Dum Maaro Dum, Lovely and Love mera hit hit. Also, how about fashion industry not set standards of how a women should be in order to accepted by the society. #Vogueempower

Internet Inqalaab!
In the past I have received a lot of calls and texts from my friends and family asking me to delete a particular post or go easy on social media as they feared that I might get arrested due to my updates. It always made wonder how can someone else decide what I should think or what I would sa. For instance, something against BJP might offend a person who is pro BJP but won't offend a person who is pro Congress. Similarly, something about Ramayana will offend a Hindu but not a Muslim. On saying that, in a democratic country which has a vast diversity in terms of caste, region, religion, political parties etc it gives us very little scope to express ourselves. This gives us a very thin line between freedom of speech and being offensive. In such a scenario, it is very important to use social media as a platform to let the public voice out their opinion. With the recent decision of the Supreme Court to strike of the Section 66A, it looks like a majority of the Indians particularly general public are delighted. It was sad to see people being arrested on posting a status on social media on contrary to calling ourselves a democratic nation. Thanks to SC for giving the freedom to people for voicing their option. However, we must have few exceptions like defamation, hate speeches by our beloved politicians most of the times. It's ultimately the victory of social media specifically the public. Internet Inqalaab. ✊

Diamonds are girl's best friends?
'Diamonds are a girl's best friend' is an age old saying. But do you ever go shopping with diamonds when you are upset? No. Do you talk to a diamond when you are cranky ? No. Do you hug a diamond when you need to feel secure ? No. Do you have a night out with diamonds when you have been through a bad break up? No. Do you share your outfits, accessories etc with diamonds ? Of course not.
So the only one who can be a girl’s best friend is just another girl. More like a soul sister or like we say twin from another mother who knows you in and out. Shares everything from a gossip to even guys sometimes. Stands by you and knows you so well that you don’t have to tell her anything. And most important, never judges you.
Cheers to all the lovely girls who are some ’s girl's best friend .
