Mini-alteration: When one of the buckles fell off my shoe and was lost, I removed the other one and replaced them with a pair of old clip-on earrings.

One of my favourite “extreme alterations” was taking this silk dress which had been made when Megan was 18 and turning it into a dress fit for a highland ball. We switched out the bold blue contrast bands for a softer grey-blue and changed up the neckline, using a vintage portrait of HM the Queen as inspiration.
