Silk chiffons and georgettes are lightweight, luxurious, delicate... but a nightmare if they accidentally rip. Never fear though, once repaired you can continue to dance the night away!

This tulle bolero was not going to withstand a March wedding, but add a silk lining and long sleeves and it is good to go!

One of my favourite “extreme alterations” was taking this silk dress which had been made when Megan was 18 and turning it into a dress fit for a highland ball. We switched out the bold blue contrast bands for a softer grey-blue and changed up the neckline, using a vintage portrait of HM the Queen as inspiration.
