ONCE AGAIN.
Another place, another need to gather his bearings. A glimpse at his supposed home, and heâs already off to somewhere else, lingering in the shadows and memorizing the streets and signs as he passes. The cherry blossoms that seem to fall in a never-ending rain near his house leave a minor bad taste in his mouth, and he is nothing if not a bit grateful to walk into the ward next door.
Here, wasnât it. He is subtle but ruthless in his grab for information, and puts the pieces together to learn exactly what he must as he flits back and forth. There is no attempt to admire the scenery, neither the soft taste of salt on the breeze or the rippling oceans offering anything to appeal to him. All he cares about is finding that one individual, one in a sea of real and fake.
And so he finds her. Back turned, gaze somewhere else, as if thereâs something in the distance on her mind. But it is her, there is no doubt about it. He watches for only a moment, relief taking hold, before slowly approaching. Not moving into her field of vision, he instead opts to silently step to the side of the table, back straight and gaze unwavering as he gently clears his throat.
ââŠKishinami.â
It is soft, but firm. Heâd rather not startle her.
@erroneoux
It shouldnât have come as a surprise that Julius was also in this city. Not when she had met so many others from the Moon Cell here - including his brother ( who he never truly strayed far from ), BB ( who she really hoped had not met with the assassin ) and various Servants too.
But it was, and it showed.Â
Hakuno knew that she wasnât cool and composed like a Master should be, able to face any challenge or situation with a hardened resolve in order to secure victory - but at the same time, she wasnât one to blubber either ( not unless she was hurting bad and thankfully, he wasnât exactly being deleted right now ). So instead of bursting into tears at the sight of one whose deletion had greatly affected her, both in the Far Side and during the War itself, she was left to deliberate with a series of conflicting emotions that she tried to keep concealed as she swallowed the last of a crepe she had purchased.Â
Of course, he had found her eating at a diner. Of course.Â
â Julius. â It really was nice to see him, especially now that they werenât fighting and he wasnât corrupted, on the path to deletion one way or the other. But it also made her chest clench - guilt, she supposed. That was becoming a regular occurrence with all the familiar faces showing up. Those faces that had been deleted because of her selfish wish to survive.Â
â ... Do you wanna sit down ? I can order more food if youâd like something. â

She keeps staring at me. Did I say something wrong? Should I apologize? He was not the best at discerning those things for himself, or reading others. He watched her for a moment, carefully listening to her explanation. As a mage college drop out, he was not sure he quite comprehended the logistics of all of this, but over a hundred people fighting in a holy grail war sounded terrible to him.Â
His own grail war with a much smaller number of participants already had so many tragedies, repeating again and again until he almost became numb to them by the end of it. âNot being able to save anyone, thatâs the saddest thing of all. If you ever need to talk about it Iâm here.â Really Shirou you shouldnât impose your situation onto others.Â
The moment she mentioned an Archer without a true name, his wiry eyebrows twitched and his expression became cross. A moment ago he didnât look at all like a person who could become nagry, it must have been a strange look for him. âThat guy. If you meet an Archer with white hair, black armor, and a red coat donât associate with him, because that guy really is the worst. Past, present and future, heâs the kind of guy youâll regret ever having met.â
â Do you think so ? â Â
He must really dislike Archer to say such a thing, especially after offering her a shoulder to lean on when she literally just met him. It was a complete 180 - so did that mean he had been summoned to his war as well ? Weird. She hadnât thought him to be a Servant that was so old - his past seemed to be rather recent, actually. â Not associating with him would have been pretty hard - he was my Servant, after all. âÂ
Or one of the possibilities that she could somehow recall. Different from Nero or Tamamo in the sense that she didnât know much about him personally beyond what she had seen in her dreams ( and the vague nonsense he had told her between battles ), but still one of her Servants none the less, and one she had won the Holy Grail War with successfully. â I can certainly agree that he could be a jerk at times but he wasnât all bad. I mean, I was a terrible Master - the worst of the worst - and he still managed to put up with me, â she paused. Any Servant that could put up with her general incompetence as a Master deserved a prize in her mind. â and cleaned up after me. He did that a lot, cleaning my room that is. His food was nice too, actually. Now that I think about it, he really was sort of like a fussing mother ? Thatâs honestly the only way I can put it. â

The contrast between night and day is as evident as it is back in Tokyo, the sunlight tending to spare the public from disgraceful individuals and their fittingly disgraceful transactionsâ as well as the rather nefarious events that are kept under their best wraps from guardians and legal forces alike.
Haise sees a young girl wrapped up in the middle of one now. While he may have the inclination to watch and wait, taking care to identify the specific purpose of this questionable meeting, he cannot say for certain whether she is there by chance or on purpose. She may be in danger, after all, and if she is she faces an even greater risk of injury or harm. Haise can calculate the statistics in his head by second nature; the odds are not in her favor.
âAh, there you are!â he walks up and gives her a convincing smile. There is no way to say for sure how the men would react, though Haise knows that the odds of peace are not particularly in his favor either, and he is well prepared to deal with the consequences. âIâve been worried about you, sis. Are these your friends?â
  @erroneoux
In hindsight, opting to listen to the obvious thugs was a terrible idea - especially when it had been so clear they wanted to pull her into a dark corner of the street and hassle her out of her belongings ( of which she had very little ). Alas, Hakuno had been optimistic that, hey, maybe appearances are deceiving and they really did want her help with something - even though it was night time and the chances of them wanting something like that were below zero ?Â
â ... Sorry. I got caught up in something. â  Still, someone was trying to help her out of this pinch ( at least there were still some good people around at this hour ), and she sure as hell wasnât going to waste that.Â
So she edges behind the stranger ( her brother now, apparently ), moving from the wall that she had been pressed against to a somewhat safer place ( at least she hoped so - this guy wouldnât intervene if he couldnât defend himself, right ? he wasnât an idiot, right ? ). â - and no, they just told me they needed help finding their way. I think weâre finished now though so we should get going, right ? Otherwise weâll be really late. âÂ

That is not her name.
It is not, but at the same time, it is. The Ruler of the Moon has never wanted to be associated with it ever since taking the black coat; Sakura Matou is her white self, the girl who deserves to be loved and to be happy. She, the black self, deserves nothing but hatred.
But Hakuno Kishinami has been an oddity since her birth, in a way. She should have never existed, but because she does, BB can exist as well. Because of her, BB can love, and for her, BB would do anything. Has done anything. Has done more than any person would, and for all hurt she has caused the Master, she should have been hated. Should have been, and ultimately would have been fine with it, because this is what she wanted.
Yet she was not.
For the same reason that voice can reach her ears, can speak her name but not, and isnât it ironic - to meet one she should never have been able to again, in such a broken land. Isnât it fitting, for two people who should have never existed?
âSenpaiâŠâ Ah, she hasnât changed in the slightest. Still the dumb, kindhearted, awkward girl BB had fallen deeply in love with. After everything that happened between them, after BBâs imminent deletion ( sort of, otherwise she wouldnât be here, but even then this BB isnât quite the same on from the Moon ), after all the embarrassing words the MoonCancer has said thinking never again she would be able to look at and talk to that wonderful, wonderful personâŠÂ
After all of that, Hakuno Kishinami still doesnât quite know how to act, what to say. Sheâs still the same person, and for that, BB is thankful. Please, do never change, Senpai. âUghhhh, seriouslyâŠÂ Is that all you have to say?!â Sheâs not pouting. And she definitely doesnât look like she would start crying at any due moment. Itâs all your sick mind deceiving you, Senpai! ââHave I been doing well?â, have I been doing well?! ⊠Fufu. Of course I have. Silly Senpai, did you really think thereâs aaaanything in this world that can hurt me? No matter how much time passes, BB-chan is still unbeatable!â Only you can hurt her in anyway, really. Despite those words, the AI canât help but feel bad â she gets to see her beloved after so long, and yet itâs far too hard to break out of habits. This shouldnât be the welcome Hakuno deserves; this isnât the welcome she wants to give Hakuno.
She was lying.Â
Plenty of things could hurt BB - Hakuno being the primary cause of most of the pain she had felt on the Moon, the pain she was obviously still feeling. Another reason to feel guilty, the Master mused, guilty as the AI before her donned her usual confident smile & boastful attitude ( or at least tried to, though tears looked like they could escape at any moment ) and acted as if Hakuno hadnât witnessed her deletion first hand. As if the scene that she could not prevented thanks to that damnable wall between them and her own pathetic weakness hadnât happened. As if she hadnât died. Hakuno wished that were true - she was tired of people dying for her sake when she absolutely did not deserve it. Not when she was just fake - a conscious mass of data and code that had no right to take away the lives of so many who fought for something they wholeheartedly believed in.Â
Not when in the end, even if she emerged victorious, she would just be deleted anyway. Â
But what would be the point in saying that now ? When even after her victory, after her deletion at the hands of the Moon Cell, they both stood together as if none of that had ever happened ? Like a dream ? Some might consider it a blessing to be reunited with someone they care about so dearly, and while Hakuno is certainly glad to see BB again ( ecstatic even, though her expression gave away nothing of the sort ), the feeling of guilt eats away at her more than anything. If BB is here with her, wonât she just cause her to suffer again ? Wonât she just be a burden once more - especially now that she is without a Servant ? Wouldnât she be better off if she werenât here at all ?
BB would probably just laugh off such concerns knowing her ( and she did ), so for now, they would remain unspoken in the hope of a better experience for the pair of them. Making BB more emotional than she already was didnât sound fair, and her worries were nothing that the other should have to worry about. It was better if she just kept them to herself.Â
â Yeah, you certainly are. â  It was obvious that the Master wasnât the best at putting her feelings into words if what the AI had said was anything to go by ( and boy, she had heard that before coming here too, from a variety of different people ) so keeping things short and sweet seemed more fitting. â And sorry, but I guess Iâm just... glad youâre okay. Iâm happy to see you again. â

âOi, âMaster whoâs definitely not our Masterâ!â Mary called out. âYou got a moment or two?âÂ
She paid the other bystanders no heed, as their turned their heads in confusion. That the brown haired girl had given the duo her attention, was all that really mattered.
âYou wouldnât happen to be familiar with a girl by the name of Ritsuka, would you? Or perhaps she introduced herself as Gudako?â Anne chimed in. âBright orange hair, with a side ponytail? A rather cute, white uniform that has something of a military look to it?â
To put faith in a stranger felt like something of a long shot, but it wasnât as if they were asking at complete random, either. For if there were anyone who could give them a solid answer, it would probably be a magus.
âIf not, perhaps youâve heard other Servants make mention of her? Weâd be very appreciative of any help you could offer, no matter how slight.â
â Gudako ? â
A pause, names of Masters briefly flying by in her mind, before she gave a firm shake of the head, and all the while ignoring the âMaster whose not our Masterâ comment, which she would have expected to be blatantly obvious - from their description, she sounded nothing like the girl. â No. Iâve never heard of her. I know a Gudao and a few other guys. I donât think Iâve met any other female Masters here ? â Though upon saying Gudako and the former aloud together, they sounded eerily similar, as did the description of a âwhite uniformâ. He had been wearing formal wear that matched that, hadnât he ?Â
They could certainly be from the same place, or at least something along those lines.Â
â If you can find Gudao, maybe he could give you a hand ? He was wearing white uniform - though, Iâm not even sure if heâs in this city. I only met him that one time and it was a while ago.  â

âWell, Iâve a magic chaos sword that can destroy most of these monsters with relative easeââ Or transform into a useless pile of crimson gooey garbage, but so was it always when dealing with items tagged in chaos, ââbut do tell me, how do you intend for hacking to do us much good, here? These beasts are of flesh and blood, arenât they?âÂ
It was a valid question - but unsurprisingly, Hakuno wasnât entirely sure on the specifics of how spiritron hacking even worked, especially not here. This wasnât the Moon Cell, yet her abilities ( however poor they remained ) translated into the setting and the beast in front of them was stunned - if even for a moment - when she shot off ;hack as a demonstration.Â

The situation at hand hadnât exactly been ideal for a surprising reunion, especially not with Leo of all people ( though given her own revived status, she couldnât exactly say it was out of the realm of possibility for him to be here too ). In a sense, it was somewhat relieving that the monsters had appeared in the city and interrupted what would have surely been an awkward greeting ( on her part ) - though now she had the equally as troubling situation of Leonardo B. Harwey, without a Servant but with a gun.Â
â Leo, can we please just go to the safe zone ? â It wasnât that she didnât trust Leo with a gun - no, that was a lie. She really didnât trust Leo with a gun. What sort of wannabe âkingâ brandishes a gun and not a sword ? Sure, his aim was faultless - but that didnât mean he needed a weapon like that. Not with his personality. Not when he was starting to act trigger happy with a smile on his face.  â When did you even learn how to fire a gun anyway ? â

Shirou felt self conscious for a moment. Eh, why is she looking at me like that? Is there something on my face? Apparently the reason she had been staring at him with such scrutiny though was because to her he must have sounded like a relic of the past. After all his holy grail war took place in the mid 2000s, but what she described was something in the far future.Â
âKishinami, itâs nice to meet you at least. I never thought Iâd find another master besides Tohsaka.â He thought of that girl for a moment, strong, defiant, proud, compared to her he barely even qualified as a master. He listened to the explanation too, but, Tohsaka probably would have a better time understanding it then an empty headed person like him.Â
âUh⊠yes⊠a war on the moon that makes sense⊠wait how did they breathe? Still, 120 people thatâs terrible.â His eyes looked about to burst with empathy for a moment. âIf that many people were involved with a conflict it would be so hard to save all of them. I canât imagine going through that, Iâm sorry again.â There he was apologizing again, perhaps he should start apologizing for apologizing. âWhat servants did you encounter? Did you perhaps encounter a blonde saber with a knightly appearance? Or⊠a white haired archer with a terrible nagging personality?â
Tohsaka ?Â
Did he mean one of Rinâs ancestors ? She had mentioned she was from a once powerful magus family - perhaps they had participated in one of the original Holy Grail Wars back when it was still possible to do so on Earth ? It was possible, at the very least.
â It wasnât on the surface of the moon. It was within the automaton. And you canât save any of the participants. They go into the war knowing what it is, well, most of them do - and if you lose a fight, you are automatically deleted by the Moon Cell along with your Servant. â She had tried to save some but clearly, the Moon Cell only wanted one victor and one victor alone. Even the Advanced AIâs couldnât do anything about the rules - though BB had made one hell of an attempt in bending them.
â A knightly Saber - Gawain fits that ? He was a knight of the Round Table and one of King Arthurâs followers. â Beyond him, she couldnât think of anyone - and there was no way Nero could be described as âknightlyâ.  â And maybe ? I knew an Archer like that but I didnât get his True Name or I donât... remember him ever telling me it. â That Servant that might have been herâs - the nameless Archer. He really wasnât that far off when he said that he was a ânagging sortâ. â Beyond those two, there was also Francis Drake, Cu Chulainn, Lu Bu, Robin Hood, Vlad III and Li Shuwen - to name a few. The number of participants meant that the war was organized into a tournament-like structure. You beat someone, you move onto the next round. I didnât meet every participant. âÂ

@pelagaios Ⱡoverlay ii.
It had been in hindsight that Hakuno realized that she should have heeded the words of the floating woman ( AI ? Android ? NPC ? ) and stayed within the light of the beacons - but as usual, she had not done what would be considered âbestâ for her. Instead, Hakuno had wandered straight into the darkness where the light did not reach. To avoid the monsters. To avoid fighting. It had been unconscious, memories of the war flooding back and making her legs shake ever so slightly at the mere sound of blades clashing and guns firing, and her body had quickly moved her as far away from the noise as it could.Â
It was a shame the darkness produced a monster even uglier than the ones in the city.
An outstretched hand attempted to summon forth any sort of power but the pain surging through her arm signaled that she was still unable to do so. What had that woman said about abilities ? That they were fragmented ? Hakunoâs lips pursed as she took a step back from the thing that was now staring her down - more like glitched. Another step and her back brushed against a wall. Great. And even in a situation where she was clearly going to be eaten, she couldnât manage to cry out or yell. Her expression remained passive - well, until a kid with a sword so kindly shoved it straight into the neck of the beast. That had been surprising.Â
Even more so that she recognized him. Â

âThe moon what nowâŠâ
Shirou was out of his depth in most situations, but he thought he might be able to understand somebody who had gone through a holy grail war like he did. However, stopping this person had only left him more confused. He once possessed those same command seals, though his were stolen away by a witch.Â
He was not somebody who deserved to be called a master anymore either. Faker, was th eonly appropriate title that applied to him. However, the fact that he did not recognize this person was concerning. After all he was told that the holy grail war was a backwater ritual and extremely rare. He did not want anybody to have gone through what he did, and what his father did as well.Â
âI participated in the 5th Holy Grail War in Fuyuki, I didnât know there were grail wars outside of that. Iâm so sorry for what youâve been through it was supposed to end when we destroyed the grail. My nameâs EmiyaâŠâ
He bowed his head to her slightly, probably giving off an entirely different vibe than any other Emiya she might have come into contact with.
The Fifth Holy Grail War ?Â
Hakuno hadnât exactly been paying attention to what War she had participated in ( she had been more occupied with not dying ), but if this person had been a Master in a Holy Grail War in Fuyuki ( wherever that was ), then didnât that mean he was really old ? After all, Holy Grail Wars werenât able to be held anywhere but the Moon Cell - the mana of the world was gone and from what she had read during her time in Tsukumihara, it had been that way since at least the 1970s.
â Emiya, huh. Iâm Kishinami. âÂ
She could have sworn she knew that name, but this person was nothing like anyone she had met before - what sort of person apologizes for something that wasnât their fault ? So, she dismissed the matter of why he seemed familiar to her for the more alarming fact he had brought up - destroying the Grail. â But I donât think you, uh, destroying the Grail would have affected my situation. I mean, the wars on the Moon only began in 2030 when the spiritual automaton was discovered inside it - at least, thatâs what Iâve been told. Apparently it has a âworld-changing powerâ - thatâs why people started to call it the âHoly Grailâ and why people who wanted their wishes granted began to hack into it in order to use it for themselves. And when I say people, I mean a lot of people. The War I participated in had... maybe one hundred and twenty participants ? âÂ

permanent relationship call !
i figured iâd hop on the bandwagon and do this for hakuno since iâd like to plan some good (Â and bad lmao ) relationships for the future. if youâre interested in any of them, give this a like & iâll send you a message ! itâs a bit long below but bear with me & thank you for reading in advance !
friends: this is easy enough to accomplish. sure, she might not be the most expressive person in the world until you become close but hakuno is faultlessly loyal to anyone who she considers a âfriendâ. beyond being a literal npc, hakuno is pretty ordinary in terms of character and interests - and a running gag is that sheâs ridiculously plain - so sheâd be open to anything within reason. want to go shopping ( for candy ) ? sure ! want to stay at home ( and eat candy ) ? sure ! becoming her friend will win you the âhakuno will now die for youâ accomplishment. use it wisely.Â
found family: the evolution of the âhakuno will now die for youâ accomplishment, mainly because iâm a sucker for this troupe. basically, closer than friends. a familial-like bond. hakuno has no relatives at all, so sheâd probably cry if someone told her sheâs like family to them. she craves soft interactions. please adopt her.Â
hacker voice: hakuno would be interested in meeting people who arenât human, even if they arenât entirely similar to what she is. sure, sheâs met weird humans + servants who canât really be considered human anymore given their summoned state but i mean beyond that. aliens ? cool, sheâs from the moon. for real, sheâd be down to meet anyone given her state as a series of code. plus, if your muse likes programming or computers, she could be pretty interesting to talk to.
nasu hell: are you a servant or master ? arenât holy grail wars pretty damn terrible ? but seriously, hakuno would be down to interact with any servant + any masters / characters from fate. plus, if you happen to be a servant she has encountered on the moon cell then youâll get a complimentary whatâs up buddy sorry i defeated you & deleted your master.Â
romance: welcome to the hakuno romance route, your local bi icon. personally speaking, i wouldnât be down to ship hakuno unless there was chemistry so there would have to be substantial development, plotted or otherwise ( and youâd also have to win bbâs approval which will never happen tbh ). she really craves friendship more than anything else atm.Â
other: have any other ideas ? feel free to like anyway and let me know !
#(Â â: OUT OF CHARACTER. )#isola rp ad#there we go#it got long i apologise but i'll be sure to dm anyone who likes it once i get the chance

Her time spent in the other city, the other prison, had let Hakuno understand that many Servants had been captured and weakened, much like everyone else - and she had met a handful of them during her time there. Servants from different Wars. Servants who knew nothing about the Moon Cell. Surely, a more competent Master would be fascinated at the opportunity to interact with Servants that werenât their own, to learn about their powers and their lives.Â
Hakuno was not like those Masters.Â
â ... Can you even see through that mask ? â Â
It seemed impractical. Hakuno understood that Servants would attempt to hide their identity during a Holy Grail War in order to keep their secrets, in order to surprise their opponents with what they could bring to the battlefield - but this, at least to her, was taking it to an extreme that didnât seem necessary. Maybe she was just being silly, but it bothered her more than she had expected it to, and she wasnât the sort to keep that to herself. Â

It was late - her phone had already let her know that much. 0:00. Midnight.Â
She had been standing under a streetlight for a while now. Lord knows how long she had been there - and yet, despite the darkness, she had no real motivation to head home. None at all, in fact. Maybe it was because she didnât know her roommates, or because she didnât need to sleep - hell, she had nothing to do here at all. At least on the Moon Cell she had a purpose. A Master trying to survive, following her Servant through each challenge presented to them.Â
Now she was just a weird kid standing alone, playing games on her phone in the middle of the night to blow time. Not that she was even a real âkidâ.Â
â You mean like strangers jumping off of rooftops ? â  Not exactly something she had expected to see, but whatever. â Youâre right. Definitely suspicious. â Was he wearing a mask ? Why was he wearing a mask ? Damn, he was really going hard for the mysterious stranger aesthetic. It was kind of similar to a horror movie cliche, wasnât it ? A masked stranger approaches and a dumb high school girl gets caught up in some shit that she could have avoided had she had common sense. â But youâre one to talk - youâre awake too. â
  @erroneoux
Uta is not the kind of person to believe he knows everything. He knows many things, and takes pride in the advice he gives, even coming to appreciate his own tendency to speak in rather foreboding tones. But again, he acknowledges the unknowns he has not yet come to be familiar with.
And this girl is one of them.
Something about her is off, he thinks. Whether it is the way she smells, or the way she carries herself, Uta cannot place a single tattooed finger on just why he feels intrigued, and yet he is. He sees her standing there under a flickering streetlight and he looms over the sight, weighing his options between continuing to observe or dropping down and giving a greeting.
Within the length of a breath, he jumps from the rooftop he previously brooded on, making an inhumanly precise landing. He is not human, after all, and he wonders if that is a trait she shares.
âItâs quite late to be out alone,â he remarks. âYou never know what can be lurking around.â

Being stopped at a shout of surprise at the sight of her Command Seals was surprising, especially when it had been by someone she didnât know. He was somewhat familiar - vaguely - but certainly not anybody she had faced in her own War. Was he even a Master ? Or just a magus who happened to know about the Holy Grail War ? There was also the option of being an AI, that certainly could have been why she recognized him, but no. He didnât seem to give off any sense of being like Sakura or BB - nor did he appear to be an NPC.
Wonderful.Â
â I was a Master, yes. There isnât a war happening here though, so I donât really see much of a use in using that title anymore. â Plus, there was the whole situation of her missing ( unknown ) Servant. A Master without a Servant was pretty useless, and she couldnât even figure out who had been by her side for those many weeks spent traversing arenas and fighting for survival. â And you are ? Not from the Moon Cell, Iâm guessing. Or were you just eliminated early ? âÂ

The red tint of the symbol that was drawn across his arm stood out greatly against his skin, but it was not out of admiration for the design nor an appreciation for the arts that brought it to Hakunoâs attention. In her experience, such intricate markings were typically associated with the Holy Grail War - unique to each individual, a series of three seals that would appear on their hand in order to signify their status as a Master. It was not too far off such a description, though she had never seen Command Seals on someoneâs forearm. Looking down at her own tattoo, seemingly permanently engraved on the front of her hand, she deemed it to be a simple coincidence. He was not a Master.Â
Of course, that didnât excuse her blatant staring.Â
â Oh. I was just looking. At your... arm. Uh, sorry. âÂ
