nicht mal mehr eine Woche und dann gibts schon das feministisch kämpfen festival II Wo: "Ausland" im Prenzlauer Berg; Lychener Str. 60 ab 13 Uhr Vergnügungsstände, Essen, Cocktails... im Hof ab 13 Workshops für flti*, zur aktuellen Lage in Nordsyrien, Selbstbehauptungstraining, Zwiebelringe gegen Internetüberwachung ab 20:30 Uhr Konzerte, HipHop und Queercore ich freu mich, euch zwischen amüsirbuden, workshops, tombola und musik zu treffen! sagts weiter, bringt eure freund*innen mit.

Friends FEST - Second Edition!   Here we go again! Another summer day full of zines, delicious vegan foods, cool workshops and lots of good music! Come, enjoy the day and sing along with your friends because “Some Friends Are Forever !!!!” 14:00 - START THE FESTIVAL! - VEGAN FOOD - Vegan Cakes by Rosa Negra Catering 14:00 - 17:00 BAND WORKSHOP: Always wanted to play in an instrument, play in a band and play a show? This is your chance! In this workshop we will show you how to play an instrument, you will play a song with your own band and perform it on stage afterwards! We want to encourage and inspire people with none or almost no music experience, show that making music is a lot of fun and that anyone can start a band!… Possible instruments: Guitar, drums, bass, singing, ..anything goes! You can bring your own instrument, but we also have instruments available at the workshop. Please note that this is an all-day workshop – we start at 13h30, and end with your band performing live on stage at the Friends Fest. Unfortunately space is limited for this workshop, and the maximum number of participants is 5. Want to join? Send an email to helenakrausz@hotmail.com . In your email, mention what instrument you would like to play (as space is limted, provide a top-3). Please sign up before Thursday 31 August - 20:00! 14:00 - 15:30 QUEER PUNK STORIES There are more queers in the history of punk than you would believe. Through show and tell-style storytelling, aided by cuttings from zines and audio-visual footage, we’ll go back to the past to trace or remember queer protagonists of the emerging punk, post-punk and hardcore movements of the late 1970s and early 1980s. We’ll move on to the mid-1980s and beyond, when queercore (also sometimes called homocore) emerged, a cultural movement and network of zinesters, musicians, activists, diy-artists, people running small labels, putting on shows, festivals, etc. Queercore challenged punk/hardcore scenes but also gay/lesbian movements from within with fierce sexual and gender politics. It also left us a legacy of amazing queer art and (ideas for) cultural activisms. But queer punk’s not dead! We’ll also look at what has been up in the more recent past and talk about and listen to current queer punk politics. 14:00 to open end QUEER / FEMINIST / PUNK ZINES A zines can be your closest friend in hard and in good times in life. They can connect unfamilar people with each other and building communites too. Does it sounds familiar to you and you are looking for a possibility to present, trade and sell your queer/feminist/punk zines? Friendsfest is giving space to people who are deidcated to zines and invites you. So don’t hesitate, because we really want love to have you here at friendsfest fest! Time has come for the first FLTQI Studios Soliparty of the season! This event is in support of our practice rooms, which are FLTQI-centered, non-hierarchical and financially accessible. All the profit goes for covering costs and materials for the construction of two fabulous DIY style rehearsal rooms for strictly FLTQI (Frauen / Lesben / Trans / Queer / Intersex) oriented bands.
