Recent work for 44 Farms, one of America’s largest Black Angus beef providers.
Had an amazing couple of days working with Zach Oldham and the team at 44 Farms. There was plenty of fast-paced action, but my favorite shots were of the quiet moments in between the hustle.

Beach Boil and Bonfire: Recent Editorial Work for Texas Highways
A few months back, I had the pleasure of working with Rollin' Tide Boil Co — an awesome catering outfit specializing in seafood boils and bonfires on the beach. We staged and photographed a beach boil on North Padre Island for a feature on Texas beach eats. After some amazing spicy boiled shrimp, potatoes, corn and sausage, then it was time for marshmallows and s'mores around the bonfire. They ended the evening with an amazing fire dancer!
If you're looking to do a memorable event on the beach, I recommend these folks. Owners, Shawn & Kassie are wonderful people and great to work with.
A huge thank you to the whole crew for a great shoot!

Work from a recent editorial shoot @ Miller's Smokehouse, a family-owned barbecue joint in downtown Belton, Texas.
I always love my job, but somedays I love it a little bit more. There’s something about fire, meat and smoky pit rooms that just makes me a happy camper. And as an unapologetic Texas barbecue snob I can attest to the tender flavorful brisket, tasty house-made sausage and surprisingly moist, fall-off-the-bone pit-smoked chicken at Miller’s. They also have house-made desserts, coffee and cold brew (insider tip: they roast their own coffee beans right up the road).
All the credit and thanks go to Amadeo Chapa and Dusty Miller for making this an awesome photoshoot. Thanks guys!

Recent editorial work featuring Scholz Garten — Texas’ oldest continuously operating tavern.
I had the recent pleasure of covering this downtown Austin institution for Texas Highways magazine. German immigrant August Scholz opened a public bar and cafe in 1866. Today the tradition is alive with German and local beers on tap, a German-themed menu and a biergarten with a live music stage. Thank you to Giant Noise and the team at Scholz for the access.

New work from an editorial shoot at Cabernet Grill in Fredericksburg, Texas.
I was truly amazed by this restaurant + B&B. Their industrial-meets-Hill-Country-paradise setting blends perfectly with their locally-sourced upscale dishes and extensive all-Texas wine list. The cozy patio and courtyard features a waterscape with vine-covered rocks and multiple waterfalls. You can also stay onsite in one of their historic cabins.
Thank you to Chef Ross Burtwell and team for the hospitality and amazing food!
