The body size is perfect. It’s not too big that it’s cumbersome to cuddle with, but not too small that it feels awkward.

Its body is kinda bean shaped, making it perfect for side sleep snuggles. I like to put the front legs over my arm and then the back legs go under. It’s like actually spooning a light, tiny person

It makes a great sit up pillow! I like to stack two normal pillows and then my Jättedtor on top with the legs facing out while I do things like draw in bed (POTS moment). Every other pillow in this fashion I’ve tried hasn’t been as good.

The trunk has nice ridges that make a great stim to touch

If you cuddle your face into the back of its neck you can put one of the ears over your face as a sort of sleep mask! Great for pressure/touch seeking stims

when I replayed Black as an adult, I named my Sewaddle “Achilles” due to the fact that in The Iliad, Achilles stays bundled up in his tent (like Swadloon) until he is informed of the death of his lover Patroclus and then bursts out of his tent in a battle rage (that being Leavanny). And it fit, cuz Leavanny stayed with me all the way to the champion. Ugh, LOVE that bug

This was almost exactly the reaction ex B gave me after I told him I was in a court battle with ex A over my sexual assault and attempted murder. “Duhhhh why are you being so vindictive??? Just move on what is he actually gonna do if you don’t put him in jail?”

I don’t like the prison system either (more so in America than Canada, which is where I am) but serving your time in prison for committing a crime is SUPPOSED to be the redemptive justice. It’s why countries that don’t just use prison to hide slave labour will actually make an attempt to help the people on the inside live a better life once they get out.

God… normally there’s at least an air of comedic stupidity to the shit Lily says but this one just actually made me angry. How are you gonna pretend to be this voice of the voiceless who stands up to abusers and then tell your fanbase that’s mostly comprised of victims “hey man, you just need to let that shit go you can’t ruin someone’s life because they hurt your feefees”

Except that letting an abuser continue to get off scott free enables them to continue going after potential future victims and continues to make the world an unsafe place for victims to speak out and tell their stories.

ESPECIALLY in an industry like Hollywood where there are so many victims who've been wrongfully forced into silence and who have to still watch as their abusers live completely free.

The consequences to being abusive isn't just "losing a partner" it's having potentially ruined relationships for someone forever, it's betraying someone's trust without any regard for their health, in some cases it's literally bringing someone to their death.

The fact that you just see it as "Wahhh I got dumped." is quite frankly, very telling.

Literally how it feels to look up any extreme horror book on YouTube and all the comments are like “this book had shocking content just for the sake of being shocking” oh really bro did it now

people really just walk into horror movies and expect them not to deal with uncomfortable things despite the genre being dedicated to discomfort.

i saw so many people complain that lisa frankenstein, a movie where one of the leads is famously a rotting corpse, was too gross for them. when i walked out of nosferatu, i heard people say that the nudity was uncalled for... in a vampire film. nudity? in MY gothic horror?! unheard of!

a LOT of people really need to accept that maybe some genres just aren't to their taste, idk. not every movie needs to be cookie-cutter clean. sexuality is a staple of gothic horror, if not the wider genre horror in General. you don't need to enjoy it, but it doesn't make these things uncalled for.
