I’m troubled that my generation is so sick. There is an overwhelming number of us between 30-50 who suffer from some sort of disease or illness that require medication. Medication that has serious side effects! Our parents weren’t as sick as most of us are now at that age. Most of our parents didn’t have health issues until much later in life. Do you see the issue at hand? I strongly believe that our overconsumption of processed foods, fast foods and a sedentary lifestyle is a major factor in this. Now, look at the generation of our children. How many young adults, teens and younger children suffer from some form of health issue or mental health issue??? In 2013 statistics showed 1 in 4 teens were pre-diabetic! It’s time to change this trend!
