First semester of grad school is so close to being over... just have to finish this paper and finish my web design 1 project, then freedom until the 9th! I need someone to just do them for me so my break can start now.

Over the weekend, Orlando saw a terrible act of violence that left many of us feeling helpless, furious, scared, numb—and resolved to take action. If you want to join us in fighting back against hatred and divisiveness through solidarity and compassion, here are some places you can turn to:

The #orlandounited tag, where Muslim and LGBTQ solidarity is being reaffirmed in the face of those who would tear it apart. 

Post it Forward, a safe space for you to share your feelings and experiences around all this, and to find other people who are sharing theirs. 

#WeAreOrlando, which is hosting fundraisers all across the country. There’s probably one near you. 

The Pulse Victims Fund. They’re working to raise as much as possible for these victims and their families, as well as distribute the fund as fast as possible. Judging by their success so far, compassion is currently walloping hatred.

Now’s the time for love. Stay safe and supportive, and let’s stand together through this.

One of my closest friends throughout middle and high school was among the victims of the Orlando shooting. He was one of the sweetest and goofiest kids and a beloved friend. I will never forget him or the joy he brought to myself and others. His brother has created this GoFundMe to help cover the costs of his funeral and to create a program at my old high school for acceptance of all in his honor. If anyone has a few spare dollars to donate, it is going to a good cause. If anything please share, so his memory can go on. May you rest in peace Christopher Sanfeliz 11/17/91-06/12/16
