My Helvling for @virtues-end, Elyawel Clane
I draw her a lot actually. This is a port of maybe 1/10th of the sketches I have of her in my notebooks. Extra details below the cut if you're curious
Elyawel is a barghest
She spent almost a week picking out her first name, then got frustrated and used Shea's last name because she didn't want to think about it anymore
Natural hair color is white, but strands of it get darker as she lets more of her barghest side out. While they're travelling, her hair usually takes on a salt-and-pepper silvery color. In cities, her hair is almost completely white. When she's about to transform, it turns completely black.
Listen I know her ears and tail can't be canon but they are to me
Very hostile when she meets most people. Took her two years to even like Shea.
Wants to be liked so, so bad. Thinks Shea like her. Hopes Shea likes her? She thinks they're friends but Shea hasn't ever SAID they are and it occupies a lot of her thoughts
Might have fallen in love with Shea in the past year or two. Good luck getting her to do anything about it
Goal is survival. Less "staying alive" and more "anything to never go back to the prison"
