Before the new year begins i wanna remind y'all.

Pearl and Marina are gay and madly in love with each other.

They don't outright say it because you fuckers would whine and complain, so they show us via their bond with each other and lovey dovey dialogue, it is OBVIOUS that they are a couple but Nintendo won't say it.

It is canon, deal with it.

"They are friends." As Marina tackles Pearl and snuggles her and rubs her face in a loving fashion. And how Pearl wanted to have some "us time" with Marina and get back to the "REAL fun" with Marina responding with "Oh Pearlie..." And the Japanese version of outside media saying that Marina is a maiden in love.
