Just so we’re clear...

Despite what the show has you believe, Stefan still loved Katherine by the time they’re reunited. He’s not SUDDENLY on the Anti-Katherine train, he’s hurt and angry. But he doesn’t insult her or bully her like the show has him do. Yes, he’s with Elena and yes, he falls for her hard and fast but let’s not forget that the reason he was even interested in Elena at first was because she was Katherine’s doppelganger. The reason he is into her after that is because she is the person Katherine could never be....

hc + that time he jumped naked into the trevi fountain

I should’ve known  //  When Lexie said Stefan “jumped naked into the Trevi fountain” she did mean LITERALLY. It was a night of drinking and Stefan was already struggling with his composure and control. With Lexie at his side (she was often his good influence and his bad one) they took Rome and drank profusely. It takes a lot for a vampire to get drunk and Stefan probably drank twice that. Accompanied by the dares and flirting of his best friend Stefan managed to drop his shame for the time being. Stripping his clothing and tossing them to her.

The police tried to pull him out but Stefan compelled them, after that he tried to convince Lexie to join him, which she declined.

It was a very intense scene, especially because, for the past two years, Paul and I have been working together so closely almost every day. Towards the beginning of the season, we had absolutely no scenes together, so that was actually one of the first scenes where we were working together again. It was such a weird dynamic, and when we locked eyes it really felt like we were locking eyes for the first time. But nothing was said, everything’s in the looks, and the feeling, the tension was built up so much and it was palpable, you can feel the love, the fear, the anxiety, the memories and the history between the two. - Nina Dobrev
