Hopefully within the next two or three days I will get everything finished so I can reopen this blog!

002 :: The Star Gatherer

Inktober Ink / Watercolour Series - 2 of ??

This is another one of the pictures I wanted to do as soon as I got this gold leaf ink, but I think the watercolour is really what I ended up liking most - the night sky part turned out pretty good. The gold leaf is a neat touch, but isn’t the easiest to use. Nowhere near as pretty on a scan as it is in person, even if I did mess up in a few spots.

This beautiful boy, Virgil, is a character I love that belongs to @hotwiredplanter - he can be visited at @thestargatherer. Kier has a gigantic crush on this guy and demands you go say hello.

** Directly inspired by a Picrew that I saw on the dash but didn’t get to play with when it was going around - I will link it [here] when I find it, because it was the prettiest and I’d like whoever made that to be credited properly.

If Rasul can grow trees that give fruits that taste like canned peaches, can he grow a tree that gives fruits with a honey taste? Asking for a friend

“Well, I don’t know about trees, but there is a desert shrub that grows berries that supposedly taste like honey,” Rasul shrugged. “I never seen it myself, but it’s apparently very good at being brewed up into very potent drinks. I could ask around to see if I could get a cutting or some seeds.”
