When nothing more came, Chiyo looked up from her drawing. Nozaki was sitting across from her, next to Mikorin, with a frown on his face. She sighed and put down her coloring tool. “Is this some new manga idea you’re thinking of?”

“No.” Nozaki insisted and shook his head. “I’m a vampire.”

“Alright.” Chiyo nodded to herself in sudden understanding. “Then I suppose I am your virgin victim.”

Nozaki frowned. “I don’t want to drink your blood though.”

“Fine, then Mikorin is your victim.” Chiyo said and watched the horrified look bloom on Nozaki’s face.

Immediately, Nozaki insisted, “I can’t drink Ma-Mikorin’s blood!”

Chiyo sighed again. “Well, who’s blood are you going to drink then?”

Nozaki didn’t respond.

Mikorin just looked between them, utterly confused.
