was trying to find a quote from HoH and found this instead, my poor girl :( she deserves better, imagine how many obituaries she's read/written of other demigods to perfectly nail the structure and impersonal tone that all of them seem to have while quite possibly falling to her death

really dislike the condesending "your bias for her" or "challenging you to not mention Percy" like Annabeth is a being unfairly chosen over other characters but I’ll bite, here’s five things I love about Annabeth Chase:

The fact that she's a young girl that is a know-it-all but whose existence isn't seen as inherently shameful (and is in fact admired/loved for it) — being that young girl who was told to shut up or be quiet whenever she tried to speak, I always resonated with her

She is a character who is vulnerable and oh so compassionate against all odds, she's so caring even when the world she is in doesn't want her to be — Comforting Juniper through Grover's trial w/ the Council of Clover Elders, trying to cheer Hazel up in MoA, crying because Cerberus has no one to play with and so on

Her father never wanted her (quite literally has known from a young age that her father tried to give her back) yet has grown up to be more than that, she is far more than what her mortal family thinks of her and she knows it. She was forced to grow up too fast and is doing her best despite it

She's a strong and powerful. Multiple people have acknowledged/implied her to be one of the powerful demigods on her wit alone, much less her fighting capabilities — Girlie jumped off a Pegasus and onto a flying helicopter to prevent it from crashing into a building, she quite literally scares her own (dead) cousin, she outwitted Circe and Arachnae

She knows who she is and doesn’t back down from it. She knows what she’s wants to do with her life, she knows her capabilities. Hubris may be her fatal flaw but she is self-aware about it and is consciously making an effort to fight against something that is out of control and not a fault of her own (as it’s literally the fatal flaw of Athena’s children) — Talks and reflects about it in SoM, MoA, HoH, SoS

To all the Annabeth Chase lovers/defenders, I wanna ask. What is it that made you bias for her? And no, you cannot answer anything about percabeth or Percy :)

tlt annabeth chase is truly that bitch. she is so cocky it jumps past annoying and goes right into entertaining. every word she says is 100% factually correct and you better believe it. she's so self-aware, too, except she's not at all. once again she knows how smart she is and how she doesn't want to put herself through any unnecessary pain, but doesn't see why her 12ishness would be annoying to other people. also her crush on luke is cute idc what anyone has to say, she has one weakness and it's the camp's most bitter jock TM. actually she has two weaknesses and the second one is percy jackson's 12ishness which is fatally annoying to her. she wants a quest so bad she commits ethically questionable acts just to get one. she gets doused in toilet water and doesn't even really care bc it's a Sign for her Future. she burgles an abandoned water park without shame or remorse. she faces her worst fear and still has brain cells to be smart (and correct of course). honestly who is doing it like her

Crashing out everytime I remember Grover won’t reunite with Percy, Annabeth, or Thalia in Elysium after his death, he’d be stuck as a tree
