Messaging people for the first time is so hard. What am I supposed to say? Like, "You seem really odd and your blog intrigues me. Do you want to have philosophical conversations or perhaps talk about fictional characters?" What! Whatever. I will just follow you back and stare at your blog with my big beautiful brown eyes.

Thank you! I was tempted to add POTS tips as well because we likely have it and have a test for it coming up, our heart goes crazy over very small movments and changes so its definitely a major struggle with it! We dont mind you adding on to the tips at all!
Trans-HEDS tips! from someone who has it!
Ok so this is part one of me making transititon tips for our cis-ids
1. Get arch support inserts for your shoes, wearing them doesn't cause any damage if you don't need them, they're honestly good for everyone but they're especially helpful for people with h-eds because the bones in the foot often spread apart when people with it walk, our arch completely flattens when we walk
2. Wear ankle braces, people with h-eds have weak joints in general but personally our ankles roll when we walk due to that, and high top shoes and or ankle braces are our solution
3. Drink lots of water! People with h-eds have low water retention so we have to drink lots of water, we personally struggle with this but maybe set reminders on your phone!
4. do lite workouts, for us we do simple body weight exercises to strengthen the muscles around our joints
5. Bring a fan with you when you walk!, personally our heat tolerance is extremely low to the point going outside in summer makes us very dizzy or even feel sick, so stay cool!
The end!
