Millipede under UV light. Many species of arthropods fluoresce, or glow, under ultraviolet light due to due to fluorescent compounds in their exoskeletons. At least one millipede genus, motyxia, is actually bioluminescent, meaning it can produce light on its own.

People always think I'm sneezing or hiccuping lol. But at least I get to not so awkwardly address it when they say bless you.

Having Tourette’s is so mildly awkward when meeting new people. My tics are pretty obvious so there’s always this elephant in the room about addressing the noises and movements I’m making. So I have to decide if I want to address them right away when I first meet them, wait until they bring it up, or wait until it gets to the point where they seem confused and I want to address it. It makes easy going interactions stressful and is just another thing about disability I have to deal with.
