For those still watching, I’m sorry to say that Emerald Estates is officially closing, for now. I want to thank everyone who got involved, so much! Your admins had a wonderful time running this rp, and working with everyone. 

Perhaps in the future, we will try again. But for now, we’ll bow out gracefully. 

I encourage people to consider messaging, if you have indie accounts, and would still like to rp with each other on a more one-on-one basis.

Hello, Folks. Paris here.

As people have probably noticed, our dashboards are pretty empty. Sometimes this does happen, and people just don’t have the time to get to roleplaying.

But the admins are concerned that maybe this is a bigger issue, and perhaps there is a lost of interest/ability to commit. We understand that sometimes this also happens

So we’re checking in. Are folks still interested in continuing with the rp? If we get enough responses, then we’ll move forward with everything, and start preparing for the Halloween Event idea. 

Otherwise, if the responses arent enough, we can put Emerald on pause for a little while, and see if we can revitalize it again in the future.

Hey friends! 

Admin Paris here, just finishing updates and such. As I swim the through the beautiful dashboard, I just wanted to mention two quick things. 

One, please remember to keep OOC posts to our OOC blog from here out! It keeps the dash cleaner. If you don’t have the password yet, hit us up and the admins will invite you!

Two, a brief suggestion with starters. Remember, when making open starters, consider writing them a little “vague” in the details, allowing more people to respond to them! As mentioned, this is just a suggestion. You all do you, and I love you for everything you do!

Is it possible an unclaimed slave would be sold to the Estate against their will? Also what are the punishments for unruly unclaimed slaves (like ones that may have tried to get pass the guards perhaps)?

It’s definitely possible for slave to have been sold against their will. For that matter, they may have been captured against their will, as well! Weaker supernatural creatures are often captured easily by slave hunters and traders. And for many reasons, even more powerful creatures can end up in shackles. It’s all about the backstory, Nonnie baby :D 

As to punishments in the specifics, that’s usually plotted out between players of what kinda scene they may want to write up. For example, I, as a player with a slave character, may chat up a master’s player, and decide I want to set a scene where I have tried to escape the Estates, and theyhave caught me, or guards have caught me, and sent me to this master for punishment. And then perhaps spanking! Or a flogging! Or a humiliating public display of being abused/sexualized, etc.
