Update on the Muse

So Ema’s officially a ward of the JGS and now works in the kitchens to help cook food for the masses. She still has her job as a barista although that’s getting to be pretty hectic. 

Her sister Delilah is now a full time student at JGS and Em spends what little free time she has helping her study. It’s been a bit of an adjustment for the both of them. 

Em’s still working as the vigilante, ‘The Artist’ and keeps an eye out on her old neighborhood. She calls home once a week and keeps tabs on her aunt just to make sure everything’s alright. Oliver’s been helping her settle in and she can’t help but notice small similarities between him and her aunt, (it’s nothing more than speculation though. She won’t find out that Oliver’s her cousin till much much later)

I think that’s about it? Starters to come!

wow it’s been entirely too long since I was on here HOLY CRAP

Really sorry about the unannounced hiatus! Things got bad and anxiety got bad and things changed and anxiety got better and Spring break is this week so I figure what better time to start this back up than now hmn?

I’ll be making an ‘update on the muse’ post here in a few because in my absence, I’ve had a lot of time to think on things and I’ve picked up a few ideas here and there for what I want to do with the character. After that, I’ll post a few opens and we’ll go from there yea?

"Right. See you then." She hung up without another word, making her way over to her car.

Ema sat in the waiting room, a small sketch pad in her lap and pencil in her hand as she worked. She'd convinced her parents to go and get fresh air for a while, and her sister was currently shattering away at her aunt- who was doing much better is seems since she first arrived, and even more so now that Ema's mother was out of her room.

She checked her watch again, tapping her pencil on the paper. Her phone was sitting next to her, she thought of calling or texting at least. Maybe she forgot? No... No she couldn't have. Please tell me she didn't forget-

Brood of blondes. Of all the things this woman had said, why was it that this stuck out the most.  "Intensive care, 30B. Got it."

—and then it hits. Intensive care? Shit. Who… And of all the possibilities, she’s marking this case with a red flag; possibly hostile. She won’t pry, won’t question it too hard. But she’s going to have to mention—or pre-warn—Mr Lebeau, or at least Tyler, that there was a new situation that needed a good look at. "—See you in, ah, thirty minutes or so."
