SCOTT‌:

It wasn’t hard to keep up with her – she wasn’t exactly running away from him, and perhaps Scott should have simply taken the hint, but that had never truly been his style. Everyone who wound up in Mystic Hills, they somehow felt like his priority, making sure everyone was okay. Maybe that meant spreading himself thin, he didn’t know. But he’d been confused, disoriented, unsure when he woke up, and he knew he wasn’t alone in that. Maybe she didn’t need help, even his help, but he was there to offer in the event that she did. “Yeah,” he agreed, sputtering up to her and keeping his pace to match hers. “I know, it happened to pretty much everyone here.” He wanted to ask about the business, but he wasn’t entirely sure he liked the idea of knowing. Something about her reminded him a little of Peter, and he didn’t have the best relationship with that man. “You’ve been here? A couple days and you already have business?” he tried, a light joke.

To say she was irritated was putting it lightly. She’d already been incredibly frustrated at the fact that she was stuck in some sort of purgatory, and he’d only fueled her vexation. Trying to keep a calm demeanor, the Petrova continued to keep a steady gait, her gaze focused straight ahead. She could feel the boy walking at her side, and she resisted the urge to just slam him into the ground then and there. Katherine wasn’t looking for trouble, hell, that even came as a surprise to her. She just wanted an out, and that’s exactly what she was trying to find. An exasperated sigh flows out her lungs as she stops abruptly, swiftly turning to him, “ Look, I don’t know what you want from me, but I have witch business to deal with. So unless you know where I can find a witch, I suggest you back off. ” Her gaze was like daggers-- able to pierce ones soul with just a simple glance. Lips curved upward, betraying the menacing appearance she tried to keep and completely shifting into a magnetic aura, “-- and if you don’t, I’ve got a hunger I wouldn’t mind satisfying with a bit of puppy blood. ” Her voice offered an enticing lilt, as she drew herself closer to the wolf, mischief flickered in dark hues.

STILES‌:

“your luck? try being me, i was in the middle of going to the bathroom when i wound up here.” stiles stated as he looked over at the girl. she looked like elena, the woman she’d met the other day but this girl had a much more carefree demeanour.

“ well that certainly sounds like quite the entrance, ” she teases, a devious grin playing on her rose tinted lips. she had stopped in her tracks upon hearing the boy, drawn to him by his sudden chime. something about him screamed broken and bruised-- the aura he radiated was enshrouded in darkness; something she was all too familiar with. “ how’d that go for you? ”

SCOTT‌:

He would have thought she was Elena, but he knew the other girl well enough to know her scent, and whoever he was looking at now was certainly not the same girl he’d met a few days ago, when he’d first found himself in Mystic Hills. Eyes training her as he kept his gait casual, pleasantry that he would have offered his new friend bitten back. She was a vampire, and so far, his luck with them – one – hadn’t given him a lot of confidence. “What’s your luck?” he called, bringing her attention to him. Scott McCall, he who could never resist getting involved.

Upon hearing the voice, she comes to a halt. With her hand placed on her hip, doe eyes scan the stranger. Cute boy, admittedly, though definitely not her type. Despite having never met this man before, his aura felt like something she’d come across before-- she couldn’t quite put her finger on it. Not particularly interested in wasting her time on an idle chat with someone who likely had nothing to offer, Katherine’s chest rose and collapsed as yet another sigh was emitted. “ Oh, you know, being dragged into this dull town against my will, ” She was bitter, and rightfully so. “ Now if you don’t mind, I have business to tend to. ” Intent on finding a witch for answers, Katherine began to walk ahead once again.

TOM‌:

The human was roaming about — getting lost really, especially since he had no idea the navigational structure of the town — but he had to start somewhere and knowing your way around would certainly help him. Or perhaps, he was hoping he would find the hospital and lend them some assistance. But then he spotted the female and something about her felt… familiar. Tom definitely had never met her, no, but he went along with the feeling all the same. “I’m sorry, but have we met?”

A familiar voice rang through her ears, prompting her to turn in the direction of who had called out to her. Brows furrow slightly, perplexed by his words. She figured it was Stefan-- at least, that’s the impression she was under. But his lack of remembrance for her threw her off. Curiosity gets a hold of her, head tilting to the side as she looks him up and down-- he looked exactly like Stefan. It had to be him, right? Regardless, she decided it’d be best to play along, the corner of her lips faintly twitch upwards, “ No.. I don’t believe so, ” a momentary pause, “ I’m Katherine. ”

CAROLINE‌:

The Petrova in front of her was definitely not her so-called best friend and that thought alone made Caroline grin deviously. “If I’m going to have to deal with a doppelganger, I’m glad it is you instead of pathetic little Elena.” An almost compliment. The blonde had watched (although sometimes not so much on the sidelines) Katherine torment and play with all her friends and enemies for several years, along with a long list of detailed events she knew of that took place prior to her death as a human — when she first met the other vampire.

A crease forms between her brows, head tilting to the side ever so slightly in response to the unexpected comment. It took her a moment to realize where this borderline amiable approach had come from. Katherine was no stranger to dealing with those who’ve flipped the switch. It wasn’t too difficult to figure it out, especially when it came to kindhearted Caroline. Rosy lips curved into her signature smirk, amused by the blonde that stood before her. “ Well this is an interesting turn of events... what was it that pushed you over the edge, oh sweet Caroline? ”

BONBON‌:

Bonnie had been trying to control the crippling fear inside of her. The little whispers of doubt that said that she was stuck for good. She had done it once before; free herself from a prison world. But this time, she was sure that whatever forces were working against her had finally won. Her hand shook as she tried to get a grip, to control the anguish and hopelessness she felt but she just teared up. She was losing it. She didn’t even notice who she bumped into or apologized.

Having watched from the sidelines long enough, Katherine stepped forward, causing a collision between the two. What were the odds that she’d find none other than the famed Bennett witch? Katherine figured Bonnie had an idea of what caused for the two to be dragged into some Mystic Falls rip off. After all, she was a witch and the whole situation reeked of witchy juju. Lips curve at the corners, her gaze a fierce one, as she blocks the witches path,  “ Hello, Bonbon, ” Arms fold across her chest as she takes a firm stance, “ How about we have a nice, little chat? ”

One moment she was in Mystic Falls and then the next she’d found herself upon unfamiliar ground. As uncanny as the similarities were, it was without a doubt not Mystic Falls. The whole ordeal screamed witch business, prompting an eye roll and a heavy sigh, “ Just my luck... ” She wasn’t exactly chipper about having to deal with yet another mess when she’d done her best to avoid them. It was as though she was a beacon to trouble-- but little do they realize she was trouble.

•  KATHERINE PIERCE ( NINA DOBREV / 18/544+ / SHE/HER ) - is one of the many VAMPIRES accustomed to this reality. SHE has been trying to reason with their friends and family, but their MANIPULATIVE NATURE seems to outweigh their CHARISMA. if you see them around you’ll notice their ENTHRALLING SIGNATURE SMIRK and DARK CURLS. 

history:

from the very beginning, her life was intertwined with death; a curse bestowed upon her as a petrova doppelganger. her very existence was to be used as a sacrifice so that klaus mikaelson, original hybrid, could break his curse. she’d fell for his deception, thinking the mikaelson brothers elijah and klaus were benevolent lords with a genuine interest in her, only to later find out about her lethal fate. and so she did what she had to in order to survive-- she ran. and when running wasn’t enough, she took her own life and turned. the sacrifice required a human doppelganger, and she no longer was one; however, this prompted klaus’ rage against her, and as a result she lost everyone she cared about to his slaughter. 

she’d spent around 370+ years on the run when she met the salvatore brothers, and would eventually be the catalyst of a feud between the two. her blood was in both salvatores when they’d been killed, and were turned. after her ‘fun’ with the salvatores, katherine went back under the radar, and continued to keep herself off the grid to avoid klaus. 

a series of events unraveled, ultimately leading up to her meeting her doppelganger elena, and eventually encountering the man she’d feared the most-- klaus. it was safe to say that she often held hands with danger, finding herself right in the middle of chaotic events. and that is exactly where she finds herself again today.

important notes:

katherine never died. she’s been alive & doing her own thing, but had been in mystic falls when the spell was cast.

still able to pull off a killer elena act, and she finds it extremely amusing watching how it will affect her doppelganger.

despite being dragged into another mess, she’s just gonna roll with it for now until she’s able to figure out who she has to kill to get out.
