Hello it’s me again I’m probably gonna be posting sporadicly, because I’m just not in a drawing mood, but ill post the last bit of my back log and whatever I think is pretty neat.

Anyways this is Ryu and he is a dragonkin and in my world that refers to people with dragon like features but cannot turn into dragons, Ryu is specifically a fire dragonkin.

Ryu even tho he’s one of my older characters I don’t think I’ve thought to much about his personality, he’s definitely an extrovert and very confident and has good leadership skills, but he does have a bit a tendency to prank other and will sometimes take it a bit too far, but that’s all I’ve thought about .

I do i have more ideas but it’s but more how the species works, so I’ll just save it for other characters or if I draw him again.

This is an updated reference for my oc Cedar Lucius Apollyon.

A little bit about cedar.

He is the eldest son out of two or three siblings I haven’t decided yet. He has a deep interest in plant life, and a mysterious humanoid plant species that has been almost described as a cryptid.cedar is a very intelligent man that likes to do research into strange things or botany he prefers to be alone due to his struggles with anger issues, He does run a small shop but I haven’t thought out how that would work .

So these are one of my couples both of them are gods.

Freya is the goddess of the stars, bringing life to new stars all over the galaxy.

And Sebastian is the god of humanity, and represents positives and negatives emotions and desires that come with that .

Both met in a Victorian era setting, and the only reason it happened is because of Freyas love for the unknown and new things, so every once in a while she is able to visit him.

This is another final design

This is Hugo’s wife Clairabelle, in her winter version, as I have yet to draw the one without the coat.

So I had actually asked my mom what was popular in the 80s, to help me design these characters, because who else would know better, than someone who grew up in the 80s, She suggested me a specific type of shoe and skirt.

Clairabelle was inspired by arctic fox’s, and the fluffy fur they have,and one of the purchase I made, and the fur pattern it had.

So I don’t think I conveyed it well in the drawing, but her personality is supposed to be more calm type of elegance, compared to Dia’s who is very energetic party girl but is still elegant, I’ll have to look into more of what I want for the two of them because I think it would be a fun contrast.

This is the final design choice of a post from a little while ago

Actually drawing this was really difficult, you can definitely see where I was struggling, and their are definitely places I messed, up but even so I’m very happy with it, and it brings me so much joy just being able to talk about it.

Now a little bit about this drawing

in another post I talked about how I made some purchases that really inspired me, and this guy here is apart of that, he honestly gave me really big 70s show, or the flowers you would see on the mystery van, like 70s to 80s hippie stuff, so that’s what I went with and I really wanted to draw that while also trying something new so I decided would try doing multiple sketch ideas to see what I liked the best, and that’s how I got this design.

Now some bits about the character

He’s married and owns a small business with his wife,the business is a fabric shop that’s sells cruelty free fabric and his name is Hugo.

I know my posts tend to be full of my ramblings as of late but, I never get to talk this much about these characters that I adore so much, and I’m just having absolute blast, so I really hope that whoever is reading this likes what they learn.

This was just slamming stuff together like one of last nights drawings I wanna play around with it but will see.

This is a remake of an old character, more of a slight update, but that’s not the point, I should be talking more about the design, she is based on the dilophosaurus, because when I was in middle school I thought the idea of dinosaur humans was fun, I have several other characters with the exact same thought process.

So main parts of her design, consist of more animalistic legs, because I feel it would represent the whole dinosaur thing, Some feathers because there were some dinosaurs that had those, And I gave her a crest because she’s supposed to be a dilophosaurus.

I don’t have any clothes planned for her yet I’ll get when I get there.

So this drawing is a redrawing of an old character, but currently she’s in the concept phase, as there are some things that I’m not really happy with about this design .

So the ideas that I was running, with was guardian of the forest, sense their are several forest in my fantasy world I’m going to need a couple tree guardians.

Some things that wanted to keep from her old design

her hair style and try to make it more leaf like, it probably doesn’t come across like that. the tear necklace, I just thought it looked nice, maybe there’s a reason for in lore I’ll come up with something, and kinda the dress, I wanted something similar to the old one because I like the idea, but I think I need to do a different type of long dress, it doesn’t give off the character type I’m going for.

Things I added

I put a butterfly ribbon because the space on her head was feeling empty but, I’m not feeling it I also put a ribbon on her back, and that makes the design there feel cluttered.

I had also taken away the crown, the flowers, and cracks on her body the crown, because in her old incarnation she was the queen of the forest, but that’s not what I’m going for here, the flowers were taken away because the type of tree she is based off of isn’t a flowering type, so that just doesn’t make sense and the cracks were actually supposed to look like bark, but I’m not even gonna attempt that.

And here’s her original design, I still think she looks pretty but, it was definitely time for an upgrade, I believe this was drawn in either, 2020 or 2021 but, besides that there’s not really much to say about this drawing because I don’t really remember much about it.

These next post are gonna be a buncha concept drawings.

So this guy was kinda just bouncing around in my head, he’s supposed to in a super high standing family, so I went with the outfit in the drawing, the top may be changed slightly, because I feel it’s too similar too others I have.

Some info, even tho he’s in a super high standing family, due to his appearance he is believed to be cursed, and therefore shunned by the family.

Once he left home he became a famous play write, also doing paintings in his own free time.

I don’t have much on his personality, but I think he would be insecure with himself due to his childhood environment.

This is an update of an old earth goddess concept.

I don’t really have much to say about her, all I really thought about was that she might be a little air headed, and doesn’t get along well with the sun god.

This is Clementines grandfather, I know I said I didn’t have much on her, but more ideas for him so I’ll talk about that.

Clemence is a type of beast man, and in their culture they have a head of the family, usually that is the first born son the head will have the family mark tattooed onto their back once they take over.

Clemence doesn’t speak English, and gets family members to translate for him. He is a war veteran, and had injured his leg in the war and has been using cane for years.

Hello I’m sorry that this is a little late, but because of that I’m going to upload extra drawings, later this afternoon.

Anyways about this drawing, at night I have a specific time that I get off my phone to get ready for bed, and during that time I like draw a little bit, and that’s when I made this, it’s just a silly little drawing with random characters that I probably won’t do anything, with but I thought it would be nice to post.

There isn’t much to say about her, except that I was inspired to make her after I got her thrift shopping, and she gave summery high energy vibes. I did design her grandfather, and I probably have more to say about him.

This is the sun god concept that I’m very happy with the only changes is that I wanna make something’s more sharp looking. I do wanna change or maybe add more to his human disguise but I’ll come back to that later.
