I’m in the midst of the day, yet from where I stand, I see those who have already witnessed their night.
The stillness in the pile of leaves now carries meaning. The song of the birds in the trees has found its harmony.
Life, it seems, is nothing more than a fleeting breath, a passing glimpse, a preview of what lies beyond.
I exist between the cries and the quiet, caught in the wonder of it all. Years, like whispers, fade into memories—what remains are the testimonies, the imprints we leave behind.
Your words stand firm, unwavering—an unshakable pillar in my life. And in my darkest hour, I know I will not be alone. You will walk with me through the valley of the shadow of death.

Where is care? Oh, i dropped it on the floor and stomped it, it’s long been dead.

Hey, it’s still the same, the stars is in the same place after all that happens. It’s in the same position, and it’s always there where it is expected. And sometimes I wonder, my mind wonders, am I in the right place? Am I where I should be? My heart stops, oh it’s just my world. I felt that I should be somewhere.
I pause. And breathe.

Even if I stare at the sky the whole night, still I cannot fathom the depths of Your love and power. Always I'm in awe on how you speak, walk, and touch my life. Always remind me that what I gain doesn’t really matter, what I need is your peace in this life. Your love washes away my fear as you hold my hand tightly in this journey. You gaze in my eyes and my heart was not troubled any more. You are my everything, Lord. You are my song of joy. //thechairunderthetree//Depths//

I always forgot, but today you reminded me, that in my darkest steps Your Word will guide me.

Whatever I damned my heart to at night, with all my sadness and disappointments and just want to end everything. In the morning, when I open my front door, I always, always, always, stand in awe, in the beauty of you. Magnificent, Awesome, Omnipotent God. My heart is renewed, restored and belonged to you always.

I’m home, but I’m not. I think I should be somewhere else, but if I am then I’ll be yearning to be here.

Isaiah 50:4
The Lord God has given Me The tongue of the learned, That I should know how to speak A word in season to him who is weary. He awakens Me morning by morning, He awakens My ear To hear as the learned.

Hiraeth (n.)
a homesickness for a home to which you cannot return, a home which maybe never was; the nostalgia, the yearning, the grief for the lost places of your past.
