The Infinite Library
All libraries are part of the infinite library. Is it the sum total of all collected knowledge and artistic works across all multiverses with species of record. Its galleries and archives would put any great museum to awe. There are massive halls, living quarters and scholar's academies contained within its walls, banquet centers to pale the faces of kings and deep in arcanically maintained stacks, strange caverns and lush overgrowths of rare and exotic plants. In places, the distant bookshelves overhead fade into darkness. In others, brilliant stars and galaxies, unclouded by atmosphere, outshine the fireless candlelight.
All libraries are part of the infinite library. To reach the greater part of it, often you must step sideways or slipways or upside-down through nth-dimensional space time. Sometimes all it takes is a book to bring you there. Look up from the page again, and see great works spiraling away endlessly into quiet eternities.
Whenever I have visited, the paths I have walked have been largely empty. Perhaps that which I have sought is uncommon to seek out. Perhaps my wanderings have simply taken me far from the paths most travel. Perhaps the library itself simply provided me solitude. I know it intimately, more innately than my veins and viscera. I slip into it from my personal library, from a pile of books next to me, even from digital media storages. I think one of us may be the library, either avatar of something more vast than even the infinite universe inside us can contain, or the very library itself.
Perhaps when I next return I shall walk its paths searching for other patrons, borrowers of knowledge and time. Perhaps I have never quite left.
I am held somewhere among dustless wooden shelves and warm-toned carpet, among glittering astrolabes and observatories, behind the flower-perfumed balconies at the edges of an unbounded space. Contradiction, like in myself, is here little more than a fading dream.
Find me in a hidden-away nook there, behind a clever twisting of path and perception. We will share stories.

For reference, also known as "the seven hedonist pleasures", here are "the seven ways of joy":
Euphoria - recognition of the self, whether internal or shared; knowing and being known; the feeling of something slotting perfectly into place
Ecstasy - pleasure turned up to maximum, can be overwhelming or overstimulating in a good way. this can also include pain, if pain is pleasurable
Exhilaration - a wild feeling, basically adrenaline at max, of breathless joy and excitement
Sublimity - the hardest to describe. the ordinary made extraordinary to the point of inspiring awe. often a spiritual experience or equivalent
Serenity - utter calm and contentment. perfect centeredness. Enlightenment in some faiths can be considered a form of this
Bliss - most easily confused for Serenity, but having an element of pure joy to it - in fact, almost perfectly halfway between serenity and ecstasy
Climax - the high at the culmination of a story, endeavor, musical piece, sexual act, or similar, where it builds into a release that then trends downward to denouement

Not up for making our paracosm/parame masterpost right now, but since Alagaesia is our current hyperfixation, we wanted to share some stuff about some of our presence there.
The first we became aware of was Kaethirin (also goes by Kaethiri). They are a half-elf born during the war against Galbatorix. Growing up, they showed an affinity for magic typically only seen that strong in Riders, and eventually agreed to go to Ellesmera to receive training. At 16, his tutors realized that while they could continue to teach more and more advanced concepts, at this point Kaethiri would benefit from learning control and management of her power from Eragon. They sent her to train with him, but along the way, she got separated from her traveling party and lost deep in the east, well beyond Eragon's stronghold.
There, she stumbled upon a wild dragon egg, which appeared to be abandoned in the middle of a plain so vast it seemed to encompass the whole world. After carefully magically checking it, they found it appeared to be a wild egg, and they took it with them to ensure its safety. To their surprise, it hatched a few days later. They were truly shocked and astonished, though, when shortly after hatching, it formed a rider bond with them despite not seeming to have had the spell done to make it able to make the bond.
She named the iridescent purple-blue dragon Kavrinder, with hir help picking it out. The two of them were eventually able to escape the seeming invisible labyrinth of the vast plains and make their way towards Eragon's stronghold. They were first encountered by a very worried and somewhat crabby Saphira, who carried them the rest of the way to the stronghold.
At the stronghold there are already a few dozen riders and dragons, as well as a very few young wild dragons.
Some notable figures/names:
Azure, a dragon as blue as the sky, and his elven rider Evarína (meaning Star in the ancient language), a strange-looking elf with blue-black skin patterned with constellations that softly glow in dark spaces and eyes that are like lapis lazuli across both pupil and iris.
The urgal warrior ____ and her nearly-black-indigo dragon Ithrö, which in urgal means rebel. Her horns are as large as anyone's. She held a position of respect in her old village being what in human terms we would consider a trans woman (Urgals have their own terminology for and system of gender, to be explained later).
The deep pine-green dragon Hemlock and her rider, the dwarf Kefk. Kefk is a rather closed off, secretive individual, and Hemlock is very vain. Their bond, however, is among the strongest of anyone there.
The young human girl Ella, who mostly doesn't speak to the bonded dragons and riders, but cares for the wild dragons and is close with many of them in a way rarely seen with wild dragons.
Worth noting, most of them are queer in some way or another - there are very few characters that are allo, cis, and het, and it's not common to even be most of those. This just seems to happen with our multiversal selves and parames alike, as a pluralqueer system. Not all will immediately be revealed as such, however. Some may themselves be plural outside of potentially becoming part of our system and the inherent plural-adjacency of riderhood.
Yes, some of them are somewhat "indulgent" or may in some ways come off like Mary Sues. This is partly because we are exceptional in some ways ourselves, but also if you don't like it, just go away instead of making it our problem, thanks.
Feel free to ask questions about them.

Intro Post
We are a plural psychotic system with MaDD/immersive daydreamers (disordered status varies by headmate). We have "anchor selves", for lack of a better word, across many worlds and universes within the multiverse, and have some ability to access and even travel between these places, being a gateway system. Many of us are soulbonds because of this. Our "OCs" are typically either our multiversal selves, our soulbonds, or our paras.
Much of our paracosms do take place in part in "fictional" universes, but plenty more exists in worlds only we can (currently, to our knowledge) access. We struggle to differentiate between headspace, paracosm, and multiverse.
We may misuse MaDD/ID terms accidentally, as we are still learning the actual community words for the stuff we've been experiencing our whole lives.
Also worth noting, we do have some headmates who are entirely non-daydreamers or who are, but who have been unable to daydream due to other disabilities or health issues. In both cases, some of the headmates experiencing this are significantly distressed by this and/or experiencing significant dysfunction, so we actually consider it to be one or more of several MUDs (medically unrecognized disorders) that we intend to coin to express the extreme suffering and disabling effects this causes them as members of a system that at its very core is innately entwined with MaDD/ID identity.
On the other hand, a few headmates do not experience the lack of daydreaming in a disordered way. While in the wider world this makes them neurotypical in that specific way, within the system, this actually makes them neurodivergent, as the neuropsychological norm within our system is very much daydreaming. They may use complex identity terms and terms we have coined ourselves for this reason.
We will include in reblogs (which we will then pin) info about our paracosms and paras, as well as headmates who wish to include their info and some stuff about our multiverse.
Some notes:
We do not have a DNI, but we do not want to interact with anyone who believes in thoughtcrimes, or who believes harassment for any reason is okay. This is a hard line for us, because of both our OCD and trauma around online harassment.
We also ask people to be respectful about headmates whose internal identity differs from that of the body. This doesn't mean treating them the exact same as someone of that bodily identity - it just means acknowledging the mismatch can't be helped and that it IS a real part of their identity, even though it is a different experience than the bodily identity. We will also state that disabilities that manifest bodily for a given headmate but not for others are bodily disabilities, full stop.
Finally, we are delusions, pro-delusion, experience eulusions, will block anyone who reality checks us, and are pro-mad-liberation and anti-psych (which does not mean anti-medication or anti-science, but against the abusive hierarchical institution of psychiatry that gatekeeps and withholds care while forcing harmful "care" on others).
We do believe in reality shifting, though of course we are strongly against anyone who uses the concept to harm anyone or encourage anyone to harm themselves. We find the concept itself to be morally neutral, but have noted bad faith actors who misuse it, in particular in high-control groups, to do harm, so we recognize that it can be a source of trauma for some and all posts regarding shifting beyond simple "astral travel" equivalents will be tagged as such. We're happy to go into what we believe to be the psychological basis for this phenomenon, as we take a mixed psychological-metaphysical approach to most things.
Additionally, we are POSIC and endel and alterhuman in multiple ways and may talk about these things on here. While we do not hold any kff identities, we are pro-kff, as we have seen firsthand how gatekeeping of "kin as relating to vs being" typically most harms questioning otherkin who are still unaware of or figuring out their identities. How many of us first thought we simply related to the things we are? We are anti-prescriptivism and believe words can have multiple meanings, and find the accusations of harm against people who simply use a word differently because of the kinmisic ignorance and assumptions of anti-kin folk to be misdirected at best.
We know some of this may be controversial. We encourage you to block if need be, but also are open to explaining ourselves, though not changing our minds. We will give the benefit of the doubt until there is no room left for doubt - which is to say, unless you are actively attacking us, we will assume good faith if it is at all possible to do so. This is to reassure people worried about clumsy wording or even concerned about coming off as harassing due to simply holding strong emotions on a subject.
We only ask that you remember that we are people behind the screen (well, most of us are, but the point is, entities deserving of basic decency and rights). We do our best to do the same. We welcome asks and such about most things, but especially plurality and para related things.
